Drug info - LSD intesity/ newbie questions

I have always heard that LSD was much more violent and intense than
mushrooms but lately on the forum I have been reading that mushrooms
are more extreme and unpredicatble. I have never used lsd so that i why i
am posting in this forum. Sorry if it is a dumb question.

p.s. someone told me that acid and lsd werent the same the other day.
This isnt true is it?

pps What is the difference between LSD and LSA? effects, etc.

It depends upon the strength of the acid and the mushrooms that you actually take. Generally speaking, acid is more powerful...at least in comparison to the mushrooms I've had over the years. Of course it also depends the dosage size of each. Also, acid lasts longer.


Yeah, I hear that crap about acid not being LSD all of the time. People have told me; "Sure I've dropped acid. But I'd never touch that LSD stuff!" People have also assured me that ecstasy was a form of heroin. Duh! on both accounts. LSD....Lysergic ACID Diethylimide tartrate 25......acid.


BTW, one of the finest books about lsd in general is 'Storming Heaven, LSD & the American Dream'.

shrooms could change you life. lsd will. lol true lsd has a mindtrip that will make you explore new patterns of thoughts; whereas mushrooms can be that intense but isn't always.

"acid" is a marketing term. many people sell "acid" which is a rc or sythetic mescaline or some other drug. true LSD-25 is the best and orginal "Acid" but is rare to find anymore. often times lsa is sold as "acid." and most people don't know it. lol

as far as the effects of lsa vs lsd is lsa is much more mellow, less colorful, and is often sedating, rather than stimulating like lsd.

do some searches for lsa on this forum and you'll find many threads that compare the two.

I prefer L to mushrooms personaly. I find it to be an energetic intense as opposed to the lay around intense of mushrooms.

I guess it all depends on what kind of dosage you take. You shouldn't
take a full hit the first time, but rather take half, that way you'll
get to know Alice before you dance with her. Cause she can be a naughty
dancer...

I cant really tell you about LSD or shrooms cuz I've never got the chance to try the real thing.
I've had a very pleasant experience with LSA/LAA what is in morning glory seeds. If you know you stuff you can get pretty interesting stuff going on with few hundred of those little black thingies /has about 500 of them pulverized and waiting for their time/

I've also tried amanita muscarias on one occasion .. got really strance experience with it and also an OOBE- dunno if I will try the amanitas again though - it was way too wierd.

About the amanitas, did you do the whole thing with the oven at 200F and stuff? or did you just eat them?

hmm, that's cool. i was wondering since I've heard many people say
amanitas are good, while others say they're plain poisionous. I guess
I'll hacve to do a little research.

Speaking about which is more intense is little silly. They're
really rather different. However, I do know that for a less
intense trip, I find mushrooms more fun, because I feel very relaxed
and at ease, so I can interact easily with non tripping people.
For a high dose, intense trip, I prefer LSD, since it is more visual
for me, and also causes more strange and ridiculous thoughts to occur
in my head. Unfortunately, it is often easier for me to find
mushrooms, and LSD is expensive in my area, so I have not been able to
indulge in a strong acid trip in a few years. However, the acid
is back in my town, so I'm expecting a good time sometime in the next
few weeks!

Obviously, the effects vary from person to person, and how intense the trip is depends entirely on dasage. However, I can see why people would say mushrooms are more intense, because, for me, while acid can cause everything to come together in a lovely, coherent system, mushrooms just cause confusion upon more confusion. Some might find that hard to handle psychologically.
