What else could be used for contact buzzes?

swim is curious as swim is on the quest to solve this sweetgrass mystery (in another thread). anywho, swim is wondering what else is out there herbal wise that could create hopefully a strong contact buzz, enough to give hallucinations (visuals, etc) and some type of high.

swim is not a big smoker, so swim wants to know if burning certain herbs like an incense or something, what ones to combine in order to create a contact buzz. and what to burn it in? separate containers, ashtrays, or 1 container for everything? bongs??
