Good music to listen to on Dissociatives?

swim's looking for some trippy music to listen to in order to enhance the experience while on DXM. Suggestions, anyone?

swim reccomends you listen to Café Tacuba's "Revés" album. You will enjoy it, regardless of your language, ethnicity, socioecomomic background, religious creed, musical preference or drug of choice.

I listen to the album called "In Dub" by Hallucinogen. It's fucking
great music. Sometimes I'll put on one of the long performances by Van
Dyk, Oakenfold, or Tiesto also. It's pretty much always techno that I
listen to though for the experience.

I've made several collections of music just for my DXM trips. There are several that I like...try these

Lords of Acid
Chemical Brothers
Thrill KillKult
Prodigy
Skinny Puppy
Gravity Kills
Janes Addiction
Crystal Method
Radio Head
Beatles
Marilyn Manson

That should give you a good start.

I love to listen to west coast 90's rap, or mainstream rap, but only the best of the best, with great lyrics/flow and especially beats (nothing liek a great flow with mindful lyrics and rave-ish beat)

If you can find it a CD called "Electronic Tribute To Pink Floyd" it sounds like a DXM trip feels. Trust me D

Peace,

I am listening to www.live365.com, a free internet radio station source. It has very good sound on most of the stations. I am on a DXM buzz and enjoying the station LAVALOUNGE, which I think is listed under dance, electronica music. Suicide Blonde by INXS, and Freedom of Choice by DEVO just came on for instance. Fuck this is great.

i know this must sound crazy, but i love to drive on dxm. i love anything fast enough to do something stupid with. the first time i did dxm i did 300mg's second time i did 600, and that was unreal. the third time i did it i did 600, but i was in a lot more control than the previous time. so i poppeda moby cd in my dads car (i was 17 at the time)and took off. it was amazing. i drove 60 miles from my house and back in an hour and a half. then i went through my entire musiccollection of about 300 cd's and listened to all of it. i think that what ever music one likes is the best music to listen to. some of my favorite songs are:

when the levee breaks by a perfect circle

estrogen oxygen by loudermilk

freak of nature by sinnistar

forestfire by david usher

the messenger by infected mushroom

Everyone has to listen to Ulrich Schnauss (especially if you like My
Bloody Valentine). He is one of the best newer electronic artists.

Pink Floyd - Division Bell.

Some random electronica station on iTunes - works great - or random ringtones on your cellphone.

It has to be Psy-trance! Infected Mushroom in particular, or Hallucinagen. Some of the Goa cd's are ok too, but seem a little cheesy and dated.Failing that, someWorld Beat. Deep Forest, or one of the Buddha Bar or Siddhartha compilations.

for a very mystical trip, try these:

spiritual worlds (it's a 2cd chill-out compilation which is just wonderful for any psychedelic or dissociative, it will make your mind travel so far!)

Dead can dance (this group is prettymystic too, try download these tracks: "carnival of light", "end of a circle",

Alio die (download the following songs from them: "road to wirikuta" and "journey around a stone")

Somebody else likes Cafe Tacuba? Very cool.

I alsoreccommendthe Chemical Brothers, you can't go wrong there. The album "Gish" by the Smashing Pumpkins is good because it's fast one moment and then slow and psychadelic the next.Usually I like ambient, relaxing things when I'm tripping. I really like:"Let Go" by Frou Frou; "To Be Alone With You" by Sufjan Stevens; "Karma Police" byRadiohead;and "Wave of Mutilation" by the Pixies.

Sufjan Stevens is awesome! His new cd is a little disappointing, though. I liked it more when it was called Michigan.
