Best place to live to quit using?

Where would be the best place to live to kick the habit ?

Swim knows that drugs are everywere with maybe some exceptions. But where he lives now its different and thats why he moved there. Swim lived in big city's before where it was impossible to kick his habit.

Swim still got and will always have a weakness for yaba/meth. But doesn't want to live in Amsterdam, London, Bangkok or anywere else were its easy to get.

Also take the law in consideration, Would someone really want to fuck around in lets say the Middle East ?

An old saying, "Wherever you go, there you are" applies here. People have tried geographical relocations since the beginning of time, and it seldom helps, at least in the long term, as a tactic to beat addiction.

In order to overcome addiction, you have to change you. Practice makes perfect. You can't "think" your way into recovery. Work with someone that can help you identify the people, places, and things that make you want to get high; then avoid them. Find your triggers and work on them. Get a new hobby, stay busy.

SwiY should go to the African rainforest for some Ibogaine treatment. There are specialised addiction treatment centres or he could go chill with some tribes, the Bwiti tribe will be able to hook SwiY up, if he's somehow able to hook up with them that is, tobacco goes down well I do believe.

Thanks for the replys swim already living on a small island. Where there is little drugs compared with Amsterdam, London etc.. When swim decided to stop smoking yaba he smoked his last 2 at A,dam airport and took 2 flights to where he is now.

This helped him greatly (there is no yaba or meth here!) There is coke, heroine, xtc here but swim not intrested in them anymore. This doesn't mean that swim wont have fun!! But nothing like when he was in A,dam and London.

Also in swims place the law is strict, And drugs are expensive.

And for the first time in his life he is having a normal honest job.

Was wondering how many places there are with little or no drugs. So the people who cant stop in the place they live in now can move to somewhere with little or no drugs and start again..

Know someone first need to want to stop, But with moving somewhere where there isn't the drugs of swiy choice is a mayor help.

Any ideas?
