codeine allergy

SWIM mothers side of the family is all allergic to codeine. rashes, severe headaches and hallucinations are the common reactions.

however SWIM would like to know if he could still take hydrocodone. now of course hyrdocodone is an anologue of codeine however swim has read that most people who have bad reactions to codeine are often able to handle hydrocodone with no ill effects.

the only opiate SWIM has experimented with is percocet reacted perfectly. not even nausea, constipation, or urniary retention. ans wim would like to know if he could maybe try hydrocodone.

what do SWIY think?
