Rubber

SWIM used to get good smokeable H from his dealer, but the last time SWIM got the H it was different. It's beige powder, but when SWIM tries to smoke it, its smells and tastes sort of like rubber. When SWIM lights it, it bubbles and doesn't run on the foil.

Is this bad H, or should it be done another way, like snorting it?

Hmm, smokeable/brown H is diacetylmorphine base and it could sound like by the beige color that what SWIY's got is 'white'/diacetylmorphine HCl. SWIM has had beige heroin before which was suited for injection/snorting. SWIY could try to dissolve a small amount in water, if it dissolves it's not the smokeable H he is used to. SWIM has never tryed setting his precious white H on fire so he wouldn't know if it tastes like rubber.
Snorting it should work.

Sounds very dodgy to me, i think someone may have been ripped off, not even heroin HCL should taste like rubber. Try dissolving a little bit in water like ThirdEyeFloond suggested and if it doesn't dissolve with light heat then it's probably not smack.


The only thing i can think of is that wax shit that is used for violins and some guitars, i can't remember what it's called, but i think that shit melts but it definitely tastes like rubber, really nasty plastic shit.

SWIM does not know if he agrees about rubber as being the taste, however SWIM has smoked a fair amount of H-HCl (H4) and it does have a totally different "chemical" taste and does not run the same as H3.

It is most likely that SWIY got H4 from the color he described, unless it does not readily dissolve in water. If it doesnt, then SWIY got ripped.

I think i may have misunderstood, does one mean the taste of the powder itself is like rubber or it tastes like rubber when it's melted on the foil?

If it tastes like rubber on the foil then i doubt it is smack, my friend has only ever had heroin 4 once, and it definitely didn't taste like rubber, nor did it run (thought he was ripped off until he felt the effects seconds later).

The only time my friend has had gear that tasted like rubber (on the foil) was supposed to be brown, but he is not sure if it was just mixed with shit (like that violin wax) or it was just bad gear. My friend always puts a tiny bit on the foil to taste it and make sure it melts and runs properly before cooking up.
