lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

Is this a good idea? swim was thinking that using a blood thinner like aspirin would counter the vascoconstriction by letting blood pass through more easily. Is this safe? how long does vascoconstriction usually last? the whole trip?

thanks

Re: lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

Antiplatelet agents like aspirin prevent formation of blood clots. This is not the problem with LSA - too little blood flow to "exposed areas" (extremities, genitalia, lips, nose, nipples, etc) is. Taking a hot bath was suggested to combat this naturally. If one has a blood pressure measuring device (sphygmomanometer - available at most chain pharmacies) and an idea of what one is doing, hypotensives may be used - with caution.

Re: lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

is there any other fool proof methods if the bath is not available ie. when tripping outside?

Re: lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

Swim has been told L-arginine may help. Ginkgo bilboa could possibly be of benefit, but would need to be taken daily to preload the week before the trip.

Re: lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

haha this is kinda a funny thought, but swim wants to know if enzyte would work in combo with lsa, would it be safe. it has ginseng, ginko, l arginine, and some other vasodilators. The only thing swim is unsure about it has some natura "aphrodisiacs" in it such as yohimbe which swim thinks is a type of maoi.

Re: lsa and aspirin for vascoconstriction

Definitely not yohimbe. Yohimbe would further increase blood pressure.
