Vaporizers - Vap's & Hash?

swim's thinking of buying a nice vaporizer (Herbalaire) & swim's wondering if it's possible to use solid product in one?
It's the only product swim can afford but it's killing swim, ma'n.
Looking for answers & not wanting to waste a couple o hundred £'s on something that may well be useless to swim.
Swim can only afford to spend £20 on product per fortnight, with solid I can make it last the two weeks but with fresh, maybe 4-5 days, You know the score.
Help would be welcomed

SWIM thinks it would be a little inefficient to smoke straight hash out of a vaporizor, but if SWIY had access to some pot at a good price, it might make his bucks go a little further to sprinkle some hash on every bowl that he loads with it. SWIM has never tried putting just hash alone in a vap bowl, but if that's what SWIY wants, it may be worth a try.

It's possible, although weed seems to work better.

Hash is a very broad category, and your friends position on this spectrum could very well determine the answer to your question. Lower grade hash, usually made from pressed kif or even from low-micron bubble-bags will be fine to vaporize, granted it is broken up into the smallest pieces possible. However, 'full-melt' hash, or other forms of high-grade hash that bubble during heat application, may require some type of a 'plug in' for the vape due to their liquidy consistency. I know the Volcano has an add on for oils and full melt hash, though Im not sure about the one you referred to. If it doesnt melt to a liquid in the bowl, then break it up into tiny pieces and it should be fine to vape.

Thank's Shampoo, Yeah it's the rock hard stuff so it may be ok, however I cant be sure enough to spend a shit-load of cash on a vap, so I'll get a Wii instead

Also, despite the many vap review's I've read recently I still cant get a clear picture of whether vap's get You proper stoned.
Seems to me that vap's are unproven really.
