methadone detection

I have 24 hrs to take a drug test and at that point it will be 48 hrs.
since I injested appox. 10 mg of methadone (obtained illegally) I have
a detox drink form spectrum labs but what else can I do they said
drinking water does not help any advice?

Opiates leave the system quickly-- 24 hours for morphine, codeine
and heroin, and a bit longer for the synthetic "opioids" like
methadone. Drink plently of water, give the piss
mid-stream, and never give the first piss of the day.
You should have urinated already 4-8 times before you go into the
test, and your pee should be faint if not clear.

Also, 10mg.of methadone is a very small amount , and they have to use a
special screen for non-morphine like opiates like methadone. the
standard OPI screen will not detect methadone in any amount.

I guess I should warn that in worse case scenarios, non-synthetic
opiates can occasionally show up 3 days after ingestion, but this is
with very high levels and concentrated urine samples being given.

Also, the more morphine-like the chemical is, the stronger its
metabolites bond to the urinanalysis test strips and thus the more
likely it is to give a positive result. Codeine apparently shows
up the strongest, followed by morphine, heroin, hydromorphone
(Dilaudid), oxymorphone (Numoprhan), oxycondone (percocet, oxycontin),
and hydrocodone (Lortab, vicodin), roughly in that order.
Propoxyphene(sp?) aka darvon and darvocet, as well as methadone do not
have metabolites that show up on the standard OPI screen.
Merperidine aka Demerol I think may occasionally show up, as it is
semisynthetic, but I'm not certain for sure.
