Absorbing Liquids
I have been told that the is a maximum amount of liquid your body can absorb at one time and anything drunk after this is pretty much pissed strait through
Is this true and if so how much this would be? |

Re: Absorbing Liquids
My knowledge on the human digestive system is limited, but from what I understand nothing is "pissed strait though", regardless of the amount of liquid you consume.
Your body must still digest and metabolize simple carbs, minerals, vitamins or anything else in whatever liquid you ingest - before it passes to the bladder and urinary tract. This includes any alcohol or other substances in the liquid. If anything, more liquid would speed up absorption slightly. |
