Opinions - What does SWIY love about Cocaine?

In no particular order...

(10) It's the most interesting way to waste money. Audio snobs buy $10,000 stereos that sit unused. At least coke is enthusiastically used and enjoyed.

(9) It's always an adventure... sitting in a car waiting for someone to show up, tasting it to check the quality (or cooking a little), etc.

(8) After a long nite of rolling, it feels so damn good to finally go to sleep.

(7) If you had to die, it would be one of the best ways to go. Think about it, cancer, car accidents, blah blah. Or a kick ass high and not waking up the next morning.

(6) Getting an 8-ball and it being really high quality shit. Better than being a kid at Xmas.

(5) Sex, or (if doing it alone) looking at pr0n.

(4) Getting more!

(3) Not doing it for a long time (6 months at least), enjoying the $$ saved, then doing it again with no tolerance.

(2) Talking on it. Talking all night to someone you trust or know well, about anything & everything.

id have to disagree with you in one spot, the part about dieing. oding isnt as pleasent as one might think, although swim has never ended up in hospital, it is definatly not pleasant when the dosage is not far from hospitalization. very scary, sletchy, and long period of time to take yourself through

SWIM was once asked the question 'Whats so great about Cocaine?', SWIM had a hard time finding the answer, it occured to SWIM that ...yeah, he loves it! He loves it so, so fucking much! The bittersweet relationship that SWIM has with coke... love love hate hate. After thinking for awhile about it, Cokes high is just so.. subtle.. so uplifting, so great.. but its hard to describe. SWIM was out for awhile, month and a half, and found a bump in one of his old straws. Even though it was just a little bump, it occured to SWIM what he guesses it is..

To SWIM, its the ritual, the cutting up the lines, the lovely, sweet smell.. the delicious, numbing drip, the euphoric mood lift, the openness, the confidence, the railing that amazing smelling fine fine powder of the gods..
Its just so hard to describe to people that don't do it!

SWIM loves coke, but he hates that he loves it so much!
SWIM is a once-in-awhile user of cola, and SWIM finds that almost every single time he is about to get cola, like the next day has a plan to go pick up some, the night before is a sleepless hell. Tossing and turning, mind racing, and if SWIM ever does get to sleep he usually wakes within an hour or two, and finds that he even DREAMS about cola. SWIM wants to know if anyone else encounters this.. strange problem, and if its a bad sign? How can SWIM get so excited about the prospect of cola that he cannot sleep for sometimes two days in a row.. and SWIM's doctor will not prescribe him anything for sleep, and benadryl/simply sleep makes SWIM uncomfortable and does not help at all. So, SWIM never gets sleep before cola and it fucking sucks. SWIM wants to just sleep so it can be the next day already! headed to go get his cola!! Anyone else get very excited about getting more colas, especially after a long wait?

And what exactly is it that SWIY loves about cocaine???

SWIM loves the happiness and euphoria that follows a nice line, SWIM also loves the feeling of togetherness when with a group of people having this kinda fun. My friend is a bit of a loner, but has a few really good friends

swim can identify with how excited swiy gets before getting some coke. And the dreams. Swim's heart races while waiting for that call to make the pick up. The high is so subtle (well, compared to other drugs) that swim wonders, as well, if it doesn't become more of an addiction or love for the ritual.

yeah SWIM totally forgot about the togetherness.. while SWIM doesn't like sharing cola with alot of people, because its so expensive, whenever SWIM picks up a gram bag even he still gets a couple of his close buddies together and they all sit down and split up the lines, make 'em fine, powder 'em out, and have amazing, open, meaningful conversation...

SWIM likes the way it just kind of helps him think straight. This may seem odd, but the feeling SWIM gets from cocaine is a lot like the high he gets from weed. It just kind of settles his mind down and allows him to think straight and appreciate every day life every once in a while. It's part of what keeps him sane. Though, worthy of noting, SWIM is not an every day cocaine user, he is typically an every once in a while binge user for a couple days at a time seperated by several weeks usually.

Swik has come close to ODing on blow. Definatly not a good feeling. Believe it or not you start to puke. You get the shakes and your brain in thinking @ 1,000,000 miles per min. Mostly about dieing and what the fuck did I just do? To make matters worst your heart is beating faster than your brain is thinking! Trust me it sucks. Anyway, about this death thing. IMHO a huge shot of morphine would be the best way to go. First you'll get a rush of a warm sensation that runs through your entire body. Next an overwhelming desire to close your eyes. Then you'll fall into a deep sleep and start to dream pleasant thoughts of you in a happy place. Meanwhile every fuction of your body will start to slow down. Heart rate, breathing etc. Until it comes to a complete stop. Then everything fades to black.

swim agrees. example: although it is a movie, and not necessarily a reliable source, the character George Jung (Johnny Depp) in the movie Blow says overdosing is the worst feeling he has ever felt. its the seen where his daughter is born and he says something like "it was the best feeling of my life (referring to the birth of his daughter), followed by the worst feeling of my life (referring to overdosing).

The second the euphoric effect hits u somewhere near the middle of ur head and u feel ur problems disapear one by one, or how it feels more like magic than a drug, a feeling that larger than life, a feeling that seems like you can keep it forever and whenever you would like too feel it you would just have to remember it but it never seems to come back just by recalling it, a feeling thats NO MORE THAN JUST A FEELING!

swim loves having a 1/2 ounce knowing swim is going to be high for a good day, and swims favorite part is iv'ing about .3 grams

edit also weird iswim have never puked from it and have high quality as swim refuse to do low quality and have done over a half ounce in less than 16 hours why have swim never puked?

Swim loves how you could be tired as hell and in a shitty mood and then rail a nice line and all of a sudden feel like the day could turn out good.....Swim also finds coke to be one of the most solid, consistent drugs as the feeling he gets from it is going to be very similar high most times at least.

Drugs like ecstasy and psychedelics could produce very different, unexpected highs at times because of all the different chemicals that they're treated with. Swim finds that driving around and listening to good rock n roll or metal are one of the best ways to enjoy the rush!
