Freezing Cuts In Lemon Juice

Well Swim Finnaly Decided to process their "st peter" and got the bright eyedea of freezing it in lemon juice to hopefully not only break down cell walls but to stress it good before boiling and what not. Swim Didnt Even Use any water They just Cut bouts 15 inches or so in to stars and covered it with lemonjuice and froze... Does any other swimmers know if this will be productive at all or no?
