It can be fun to work DVDs like Illuminated Manuscripts or the stuff like Mind's Eye CGI movies-- in other words graphics and music. It can take synesthesia to a whole new level.

SWIM was watching a movie, didn't want a particularly powerful experience. Besides, he took a dose of over 1mg/lb, which was perhaps excessive on paper in the first place. Luckily it didn't turn out as strong as it could have been.

Ahh, My Bill was wondering about this. He does have it on DVD somewhere. He'll have to dig it out. And he knows perfectly what you mean by enjoying a dark trip now and then. Nothing wrong with that.

My Bill has just cooked up a fresh plate and is about to... well... nose dive and watch Texas chainsaw massacre.

Nose Dive added 692 Minutes and 24 Seconds later...

My Bill has to say it wasn't that great, though that might be because he had done it the previous night. He may try again though.

how can anyone watch and focus on a screen on k? bubbles tried to watch a dodgy pirate of st trinians on k and bubbles didnt approve, the disk was used as an fag stubber outter and then lobbed at cardboard sheets. Music now thats something funky whilst on ket, whack on aphex twin, now thats a k experience

SMIM has a whole wall dedicated entirely to films to watch on K - faves include (in no particular order):

Ultraviolet
Underworld 1 & 2
Kung Fu Hustle
Equilibrium
Lemony Snickets (good for the morning after)
Laputa Castle in the Sky
Pick of Destiny
Conversations with God (wooly - but ok if ure on a theistic trip)
Super Inframan (rare but so retro-kitsch u got 2 love it)
Kill Bill 1 and 2
Solaris (slow, good for a deep one)
Matrix trilogy (as long as you're not on a 'I'm the one' trip)
Chopper (wierd even straight)
Batman Begins (I *got* to get me one of those)
The Prestige (exact science is not an exact science)
Angela
Domino
Sin City
Count of Monte Cristo (lots of treasure)
American Gangster (lots of powder)

SWIM tries to avoid movies with subtitles coz he has trouble reading 2 lots at the same time, but if u can deal with it theres tons of very cool japanese movies and animations that really fit the bill. Like Metropolis and Casshern.

Also SWIM tries to avoid anything too horrific or depressing as obviously SWIM tends to be fairly susceptible to environment and doesn't really like wallowing around in entrails in his front room particularly.

swim, likes to watch musical stuff. He loves to watch NIN live concerts, or TOOL videos on K. I mean, they are deep enough already but on K it's like - WOW!!!!

If ure intellectually inclined theres a top BBC documentary series called Super Natural about wierd powers of animals thats pretty good looking.

Looking forward to seeing the new Batman too - Batman Begins rocks on nasal congestant, or so I hear.

You are brave Iranian , swim remembers his first shroom trip. He was forced to watch "The Ring." Crazy crazy night

"The Fountain" fucked swim up while he was on K. He was left emotionally wrecked after watching that movie for quite some time. It was just really really intense.

Well, has was also on LSD so that could have been the issue.

Swim watched Artifical Intelligence while on a high dosage of k (maybe k holing?) and both swim and her mate thought they were at the dinner table eating with the kid and her mum in the movie. Swim said it was really trippy to watch especially towards the end.

Depends a lot on dosage swim thinks but he's very surprised nobody has mentioned 2001: A Space Odyssey.

SWIM says on higher dosages and a large screen, hands down 2001 on blu-ray is something else.

SWIM has never attempted to watch a movie on K. She always gets the fish eye lens/tunnel vision effect when she does k. It would look to screwed up.

My pet ghost finds that it messes with his head too much. He needs some kind of narrative to follow. Also, his friend has a projector that makes watching films on ket that bit more amazing. He finds sci-fi and other weird, but not unsettling, films to be the best. It's all about becoming part of the story
