Nasal Effects Question, Help Needed

Let's just say that someone used to snort a lot of adderall IR, but stopped about 3 months ago. Recently, this person notices that there is a crater-looking thing inside their nose on the septum wall. It is pretty deep and a bit painful, the edges are raised but it isn't a pimple or cold sore or anything, it dips in.

Is it likely that the snorting was what made this happen? The person's nasal care isn't exactly spectacular. And if it is from snorting, will it keep getting bigger? Is there any way to make it heal up back to normal?

This person is a junior in high school and is seen by most as one of those super good kids who never does anything wrong, so if a doctor sees the nose problem, the person would have a lot of explaining to do. The person realizes how stupid it was to snort adderall, and they have promised themself that they will never do it again, and have been successful thus far, minus this nasal issue.

Nobody knows anything about the effects of snorting on the nasal tissue? This person is very worried, this has caused much anxiety.

From what my expert friend told the other experts was that the amphetamine in adderall is no longer connected to the sulfate or hydrocloride molecule for absorbtion as a whole, although there are a small amount that is still in it .

The majority of Amphetamine is bounded to a sachacarin molecule

(God! Almighty! what an Abomination!).

The same molecule as in those Pink Sweet-n-Low packets in resturants.!!!

While this make the Amp. able to be absorbered.

It also prohibits sucking it up your nose!

Google Sachherine (spelling?---whatever...)

Look at the safety standards on manufactering!!!!

It will scare the crap out of anyone!

That's not a hyped upped statement for the public.

It is for those in the chemical factory working around it.

One other pouint. While heavy concentrations of any chemical can be dangerous, this combo is done for a reason.

Dare try to snort a Sweet-N-Low packet! [don't]

So do youself a favor and just EAT the stuff!

And keep your nose clean.

While you are still young enough to recover.

don't be scared sorrysoul! damn. SWIY needs to relax. most likely an infection, it's not going to suck in his/her face or anything. SWIM thinks SWIY should go to the doctor if he/she is that worried, and play stupid. could be a number of things but most likely not something serious.

Chill out. Seriously. The sulfates, hydrochlorides, and saccharates you are referring to simply are the salt forms of freebase amphetamine. They are derived like all salts by reacting a base (amphetamine) with an acid. Suprise, those acids are sulfuric, hydrochloric, and saccharic acids respectively. Furthermore, saccharic acid really has nothing to do with saccharin. SWIM assumes the sacchar- is an Indo-European root pertaining to sugar (hence the modern words: sugar, der Zucker, and sucre) and saccharic acid is attained by oxidizing a sugar with nitric acid. The end. No worries.

Oh except for the fact that SWIY shouldn't be snorting crushed up pills anyway. Binders and the sort are horrible for you. And ironically, with amphetamine you can attain the same bioavailability of insuffulation by simply taking it orally with calcium or Tums.
