And how long of a break?. SWIM used to get a lot higher before blazing everyday. SWIM used to have highs were SWIM could not stop laughing for no reason. Could SWIM experience that again with a break?.

Pharmacologically, swiy can achieve that same level of intoxication and equal efficiency in uptake after a break of a little less than one week. Mentally however, swiy may never feel the same sense of awe and wonder at the power of the green.

hmmm interesting, swim has been wondering the same herself lately, its strange bcoz back years ago when swim first started smoking MJ n was much younger, she enjoyed it and thought it was great, then didnt touch it for a good 2 years, and had it again, and it was better then the first times she experienced, and hadnt looked back since!! now she has been smoking basically everyday, and has definatly felt the loss of the fun/funny/giggly/spun out, REAALLLYY whacked feelin! and also feels it fade off alot quicker now too!

she wonders if having another long term break would be worth it, or maybe give a short term break a go first!

A short term break should be physiologically sufficient, but a mental break may be psychologically beneficial. A few other points of interest: Several studies have shown that tolerance increases in familiar locales. Thus, smoking in the same chair by your computer, writing on drugs-forum, will produced a diminished intoxication as compared to climbing a new tree and smoking hidden in the branches. Hypothesis mostly lead to an increase in available receptors due to activation from endogenous cannabinoids, as well as norepinephrine and noradrenaline. swiy may benefit from 'mixing it up', so to speak, set and setting wise. Afghanica's, or strains higher in CBN/CBD, will also agonize THC uptake, making for a more efficient high. If swiy is smoking higher amounts to compensate for their long-term tolerance (a result of down-regulation), then the increased intake will result in phosphorylation (the recessive receptor process that results from excessive exposure), and a 'shorter experience' will be had. Though plasma levels of THC do not decrease in the tolerant smoker, the availability of cannabinoid receptors is diminished.

SWIM relates with this. Smoking a spliff during work and going back to deal with customers seems like a new experience, albeit not the best one. Varying the environment in terms of enjoyable pursuits seems like a generally good idea however. Variety is the slice of life afterall.

SWIM realizes that it can never quite be the same because SWIM knows what to expect and has already experienced it. But SWIM just wants to feel as high as before but is aware that SWIM will be ableto be under more control having experienced it already and being so used to it. SWIM likes to be out of control and hopes to laugh uncontrollably again after a break. SWIMs break record so far is 46 hours. it felt good

swim is often all over the place when smoking MJ! as she likes to be outdoors and out and about, and is unable to smoke in her house (MJ and cigs!) swim always takes some music and or a candle out with her when outside at night time and enjoys that alot more then when smoking undercover etc....

swim still gets a great feeling/great high from her first lot of MJ each day (after a sleep etc), she definatly isnt "dependant" so to speak on it yet, she enjoys it mainly early mornings when she gets home from work, or in social places (friends houses etc), but is still having trouble feeling what she does from the first MJ of the day, and from what she felt years ago! but swim understands, as with every other drug swim has taken/tried/takes, that the more u have the more the effects will weaken!

so swim will definatly give the short term break ago, has a busy time ahead of her anyway, so a month should go by not so bad!

swim has found that even a 3 month break, its not as good as the 1st. but swim has no more taste for weed anymore. if you take a lengthy break (over 1 month) and get some really good weed, better than what your used to smoking, you'll reach something great. swim has found though that a couple hits to cause a mild buzz is bettter than being all out stoned.

swim had only 2 days break, and bought a WICKED new bong, and OMG! swim was so high, she played table tennis with her friend (who was also very high n had got a new bong, we went bong shopping ) and would have endless giggle fits and it kept makin her fuck up lol! very differnet high, simular to the high she used to feel when she first started smoking!!

and before swim tried the new bong, and after 2days only break, she rolled a massive joint with some hemp papers, at least 20-30cones in it, after no weed for 2 days lol, swim was one whacked bitch! lol

after being a daily smoker for a long time, last night swim went away and didnt take any smoke with her but even after getting home and not smoking for a night, having a few cones she could not beieve how whacked she felt!!
swim has decided to participate in this a little bit more often =]
