Oxy and then Methadone?

SWIm suffers from chronic pain. He was perscribed oxycontnin awhile back and took it for 3 months until his doc took him off it for no real good reason (the bitch.) so SWIM is now taking his oxys from what he can get off the street.

Well SWIM got an 80mg pill the other night of Oxy and also happened upon a 10mg methadone dose. SWIM did a good portion of the pill over the last two nights. SWIM woke up this morning with his usual chronic pain. SWIM crushed up what was left of the 80mg oxy and snorted it. Its about 30 minutes later and the pain is still fierce. SWIM is wondering if he should take to the methadone or will it completley waste the current pain meds in his system?

It has been 30 minutes since swim last ingested oxy.
