SWIM usually insufflates 5mg and eats the other 5mg. He's a lightweight ;p

Swim is not that experianced with Adderal but when swim does do it he usually insufflates 5-10 mg and takes another 10-20mg. Really depends on the situation. For studies he usually stays at around 10-20mg (orally) and for party/social situations swim usually ups it to around 20-40.

Really depends on how much Swim has at the time, and what the situation is.

SWIM's prescription comes in 20mg IR pills so he usually takes one of those when he is doing work, sometimes up to two if he really needs to hit the books. Over the course of the night he may take 100mg if he's doing a lot of work but that is staggered over 12 hours or so.

SWIM is also prescribed 30mg XR daily. but she is not a big person 5'2" and 110lb at the most. SWIM's had this mg prescription for a while now though and it does a lot for her. she doesn't like to take it everyday; if she doubles it and has any caffeine she definitely won't be sleeping without the help of downers for at least 48 hours.

Swim normally bumps about 20mg to get himself up there and then keeps himself up by snorting 5-10mg periodically until he runs out or decides to go to sleep.

30 mg XR taken orally with tums. 2 tums administered on initial dosing. following that swim ingests 1 tum every two hours and seems to be able to get a single dose to last nicely for about 15 hours.

SWIM likes XR more than IR, so he pops 40-60 for recreation synergy with downers, and a simple 5-15mg IR or XR for studies. He may get it prescribed soon so he doesn't know if this will change. In general SWIM is a light-weight for most stimulants, but they effect him in a different way anyways.

SWIM has noticed the curious ways by which stimulants affect him as well. SWIM has a mildly high tolerance to amphetamine, his first-ever dose of 30mg barely giving him much more than a bit of a rush and moreso providing focusing and a slowing down of my thoughts. SWIM theorizes this is likely because he has ADD and he certainly has the history and issues to show for it. To counter this tolerance SWIM uses Tums as noted in his above post.

Caffeine is also an odd one for SWIM. Although it often affects him physically, it seems to have absolutely no affect on his CNS.

Methylphenidate does not seem to work on SWIM's CNS either, although physical effects again have been noted, especially when taken with his tremor medication (disturbing palpitations experienced). [SWIM is pretty sure methylphenidate's ineffectiveness for him, not to mention at least some of the 11% of the people to whom it is prescribed, is due to the fact that his tremor and caused by a dopamine deficiency issue. That, however, gets complex, but don't hesitate to PM me if you are interested in such things.]

MDMA exerts only euphoric effects on SWIM. No mild boosts of energy noted by SWIM's friends are experienced.

Individual biochemistry has alot to do with how effective drugs are in our bodies. The future of drugs, however, may eliminate this factor. Nanomedicine seems to have the potential to create drugs programmed for situations and people. Fascinating stuff really, not to mention synthesis becomes easier....

Swim is 5'9-10" and female, weighs between 130-140 (not sure how much of an impact this makes, if any, with amps, but swim will go along with the generally accepted protocol of stating the basics along with any personal dosing info.. )

In the past, she has taken her share of Addies in many forms.. let's see if she can remember them now haha.. ok the sugary IR blue ones (10s?) and orange ones (20s?) were often swallowed or snorted for "partying" purposes.. usually between 20-60mg over the course of a night, perhaps more as 'tis easy to lose track and they were in ready supply.. and then usually for school/studying she'd use the 30mg XRs (the capsules with the li'l orangey beads) and take them orally, 1-3 during a day (but not every day). Of course this was her "usual pattern" for awhile, but only after a period of increasing tolerance and whatnot. She initially started with 10-15mg and would feel quite a sufficient "up" from that; the dosages cited above were her "regular" range of doses after building a bit of a tolerance and using 2-5 times a week for awhile..

Currently swim doesn't do much addy, but to help her stay awake and concentrate she's RX'ed methylphenidate.. when that runs low she has been known to supplement her script with adderalls and vyvanses (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate), but finds that she is quite a lightweight and that the physical side effects outweigh any increased benefits at higher doses- she may take 10-20mg Adderall XR, or 30-50mg Vyvanse, and be quite "amped" up for quite awhile.. as per her script, she usually needs to take 10-15mg methylphenidate IR to help with EDS (excess daytime sleepiness) on the days her modafinil isn't cutting it. She tends to use this more as a short term "boost," ie. if she has to take a short drive or an exam and is not going to function without.. whereas the supplementary amps tend to be for longer term needs- ie. a long day of classes, a road trip, etc.

SWIM thinks the following.....

20mg IR DEXTROamphetamine is better than 20mg IR Adderall, but 20mg IR DEXTROamphetamine isn't better than 30mg of IR Adderall........

Usual dosing is 5-15mg/day for Dextroamphetamine and 5-30mg/day for Mixedamphetamine.... Doctors write higher doses all the time, but SWIY can see the ratio between the two....

Swim does anywhere from 7.5mg (1/4 of 30mg IR) insuffulated to a max of 60-80mg IR for raging out on essays, studies, etc. or if swim is extremely committed to doing something for an extended period of time or until it is perfect.

SWIM is a Amp head and been taking addies for years so in order to get anything out of them he drops 3 10mg xrs and snorts 3 15mg irs and eats 2 more 15s then SWIM is good most of the night...a night full of wow pwnage

This maybe swim he is 6'3 112 kilos... Once upon a time he took 220mg's (22 of the little blue guy's) throughout the course of the day. Swim seems to have a high tolerance to any amphetamine based product, but is prescribed to 40 mg's daily.

Does anyone know how to lower a tolerance with adderall/boost effects, besides the cross use of alcohol or baking soda?

Swim liked immediate release oral 150 mg... Swim did this so much, a good couple of years... (swim has ADHD too) that Swim has sensitization to amphetamines now and has to take focalin, which swim doesn't want to abuse.

SWIM takes 40 mg but doesn't get any sleep for about 24 hours. It's 2:20 and wide awake and have to get up at 7 to go to work. If only SWIM could sleep.

That is just crazy. Is swiy taking 40mg of XR or IR? Also is swiy taking it all at once or spaced out? If swiy are just taking 40mg at one time, not being able to sleep for 24 hours is unheard of to swim. Not to doubt swiy, swim just finds that very strange.
