Cutting up concerta for oral use

SWIM has a 54mg concerta pill. Normally he rails about 10mg of methylphenidate at a time (he likes it more than coke). However, concerta looks to "complicated" to rail. He was planning on trying to cut it up to hopefully get ~20mg (double his insufflated dose) in a piece of concerta for oral use.

Would this work well? He has heard of different layers and different colors of powder. Could he cut it into thirds and eat 1/3 of the pill and get an 18mg oral methylphenidate buzz? Or should he take the 1/3 piece and crush it up/parachute it? Ideas? =)

Ok so Swim just snorted concerta power for the first time. Bad idea. It make swims nose very gooey as if there was a booger in there and when he tried to get rid of the goo with a tissue it just kept coming out. Swim should have listened to The threads, Sill Swim.

Anyhow The Concerta mix that swim has was also crushed up before researching it and finding out that the brown part is a time releaser although swim knew that concerta was on a time release he thought it was just the 2 capsules around the brown and white innards.

What swim wants to know is if he parachutes the power of the white and brown innards of the concerta pill, will swim get a time released effect or will it all be released at once and the brown powder just make his stomach gooey and add to all the other shit thats put with all the pills he has taken.

Concertas are indeed more complicated than many other pills. They really on osmotic pressure to time release the drug, instead of using a slow dissolving material like other time released medicines.

The outer coating contains about 1/4 of the total methylphenidate, and saliva will readily dissolve it. So SWIM says that leaving it in SWIY's mouth for about 5 minutes will dissolve it. Spit it out, and there will we a clear plastic-like coating. This is the osmotic membrane, cut a slit with a razorblade and peel away with a pin or sewing needle. Now SWIY will be left with 3 sections. The Green section contains no drug, scrap it. The other two sections are different colors, depending on the dosage, although SWIM thinks the middle section is always white. This is the drug containing section. It's easy enough to crush up, although it's very waxy, and tends to stick to itself. So it's not ideal for snorting, but is possible. Also, as with any pill, it contains many other things besides the active drug that are probably better off not being in SWIY's lungs or nasal passage. Sublingual(under the toungue) use has onset comparable to snorting, and also produces a numbing effect in the mouth.

WHEN DIDO uses concerta , DIDO finds that snorting it is like shoving a bunch of cut up the nose making DIDO's nasal passages clogged for a couple of days. DIDO did find that , cutting the concerta into smaller pieces or altogether crushing it is effective. Although, DOGGY HAT has a good idea, but FOR DIDO personally, crushing it and swallowing it or letting it dissolve in the tongue works just fine.

SWIM is very experienced in the preperation of concerta. First place inside your mouth and move the pill around for a few minutes to absorb the methylphenidate in the pinkish exterior. You can see the dividing line of white and green inside the pill, possibly pink. Take a knife, and cut off the green side and throw it away. It is a water-absorbing sponge, not drugs. Take your other half, and cut it in half again. Peel off all the remaining the coating, and now you have about 40-50mg (depends on how well you do this) of methylphenidate.

DO NOT INSUFULATE THE GREEN SPONGEY MATERIAL. It's trash. It's just a polymer sponge, containing no methylphenidate.

Drug compartments #1 and #2 are pink and white. The spongey 'push' compartment is dark green and contains no methylphenidate.

You would need a industrial powerdriller to break down those damn pills in dust they are harder then steel according to swimmy

nah they aint that hard they are just waxy and hard to break down into powder it tends to stick to its self like black tar h... swim breaks em down the exact same way as the video above and is the most effective.... however one thing im not sure about is i was told that 1/4 of the methylphenidate is actually in the redish/pink(54mg) outter layer that has the letters on it. this true? cause swim stuck about 20 of the redish shells in a bottle of water and was debating drinking it. if thats true that would be 270mg in the bottle....

Yes, it's actually slightly less than 1/4th of the methylphenidate, 22%, which is prepared for immediate release in a Concerta capsule.
