Dilaudid dose help please!

SWIM got his hands on some 2mg Dilaudid pills today. He has a friend who wants to try them with him and this friend is counting on them to dose them properly since SWIM has much more drug experience. This is SWIMs first time dealing with Dilaudid and 2mg messed him up nicely with a bowl at 140lbs and a moderate opiate tolerance (used to take 40mg oxys daily). This friend is around 110lbs and has barely a tolerance, what do you think an appropriate dose would be? Thanks, I really don't want anyone gettin sick

First of all, there are many thread about hydromorphone, and a very detailed list of all opioid dosages in the opioid forum. Second of all, always mention drug names, in this case hydromorphone, not just brand names. We have members from all countries in the world, and many different brand names are used for many different drugs.

My apologies SWIM is on the pills right now and put the brand name for clarity but was obviously not thinking. SWIM also searched around and didn't see any threads similar to his. SWIM is worried -- 15mg hydrocodone mess this girl up nicely while SWIM needs more like 40mg to get nicely stoned and 2mg of hydromorphone insuffulated has SWIM feeling like hes on 40mg of oxycodone. I'm thinking about giving this girl 1mg.

Thank you SWIM read the opiod dosages before posting the thread but SWIM is still worried. I guess SWIM will just play it safe and give his friend 1mg hydromorphone.

That's a wise thought of SWIY, and something all experimenting drug users should stick to. When exploring new drugs, always start out easy and work your way up. After all, you can always take more of a drug, but taking less when it has already been taken is somewhat difficult ..

Thats the way I see it SWIM can always give his friend another mg later on. Thanks for the help

SWIM is about 5'11" 165 lbs and has a natural high drug tolerance 3mg first time caught a buzz...after that is was 6mg for a few times...then 9mg...now 12 and He is staying away cuz it became a habit all day/everyday thing... SOOO fun and amazing for song writing but Swim recommends railing 4mg for a great time with little tolerance at 110lbs

Hydromorphone is generally considered to be 8 times as strong as Morphine which is equal to oxycontin so 30 mgs. of Morphine would be similar to 4mgs. of hydromorphone.
