TEK - Extracting DXM from Sucrets (and related lozenges)

I kwow this method is pretty simple but for people who still have gray areas ill post some pics up. SWIY will need a microwave,sucrets,a food prosessor or cofee grinder,a spoon,and a microwavable safe dish..take a look





SWIY can start out with these. SWIM used 3 tins 540mg


SWIM used a conventional cofee grinder





This is waht it looks after SWIY grinds it..





Water is poured over the mixture and put in the microwave for 1 minute intervals, stirring occasionally. SWIM usually does it for 3-4 min.*iW


All the lozenges are to be dissolved.

It is left to sit for a while until the dxm has completly seperated from the water. the dxm is the white chalky looking stuff at the bottom, if you look hard you can see it.





then the DXM is separated from the water using wither a turkey baster,or just simply tipping the bowl sideways over the sink, SWIY will be able to see if s/he is wasting any.there was still a little layer of water on this when SWIM was done but thats fine.


from this point SWIY can do several things


1. S/he could dry it out and put it into capsules


2. The stuff can be drunk the way it sits in the bowl...its its not very good tasting ISO


3. SWIY could mix it with some orange juice or other beverage of choice (non-alcoholic please. A little alcohol potentiates the DXM, a little too much can cause intense long-lasting vomiting).


in the bottom is the pure dxm.








the finished product. Can be drunk.
