Adderall in the UK

I think I read somewhere (may of even been here) that Adderall had been first made and patented by a British company.

That would mean that Adderall is legally available (via prescription) in Britain, right?

I'm currently trying to get diagnosed with ADD but it's extremely hard, all the doctors I've seen so far say ADD/ADHD is extremely rare in adults and that I'll probably never be able to get tested.

I will have an appointment with a psychiatrist soon so hopefully he will take me seriously.

I've never heard of anyone in this country being prescribed Ritalin or Addy which is why I'm checking to see if they are even legal here. Although I've never heard of anyone here being diagnosed with ADD either, so that could explain why I've never been exposed to the medication.

I also wanted to know about the vasoconstricting properties of Addy/Ritalin. I read somewhere that "penis shrinkage" was not uncommon from use of any of them, is there any evidence that it could be permanent?

I think that's about all the questions I can think of, I'll add more if I think of any.

from a forum about a.d.d. thats probably the biggest support group you can find in the uk (protip: its a snake when you google it) swim saw this : adderall is also available off licence but has to be sourced differently via specialist prescription and not many specialists tend to prescribe this

Awesome, that site was really helpful. I talked to my local pharmacist today and he said they can do that no problem. Now all I have to do is wait for my psychiatrist appointment (already been waiting 3 months :\) and then try and convince him to write one of these.

so you are 100% sure they do it with prescription in the uk? thats great news, i am also waiting on when do i see my psychiatrist.

Well not 100% but I'm fairly confident if I get a half-way competent psychiatrist I should be able to talk him into prescribing Addy. SWIM was able to illegally obtain Ritalin online, and it did help to a certain extent but it made me feel weird and only added to my anxiety and depression.

Its its sort of hard to get Adderall in the UK ...
Swim is from America and swim was given adderall there.. then when swim moved here. swim encountered a wall of bricks here with the doctors not wanting to give adderall and its a very controlled substance here .. even more than in the states...
after seeing a spychiatrist swim was able to finally get drexadrine ... only after going through 3 doctors ... which view addreall something next to the antichirst..

That's a little disheartening, but I'm hoping it is due to ignorant doctors. Let's hope I get a psychiatrist who isn't an idiot ;D

swim thinks it's the american doctors who are ignorant. they prescribe that shit to kids like its freakin candy.
