Smoking Morphine- Is it possible

Is there any way to turn morphine sulfate tablets (not time release) into a smokable form of morphine?? by turning it into a freebase form? or some other method....

It is already smokable.
Just because it is a salt form does not render it unsmokable.
SWIM has enjoyed smoking MScontin tablets on many an occasion.

That said there are plenty of ways one can freebase it if so desired.
One way would be to make the Morphine Base which is on here in many threads if one takes the time to have a look around.
SWIM has never actually tried to smoke Morphine base before . . . gives him the inclination to try actually.

MS is dissolved in water.
Calcium Carbonate is added until pH 9.1 is reached.
Morphine will precipitate out of the solution with the Calcium Carbonate.
This leaves Calcium Morphinate (Morphine Base).
precipitant is kept and liquid is discarded.
precipitant is left to dry out.
One would now be left with dry Morphine base.

None of this is necessary, MScontin and Morphine Sulphate IR are both smokable as is. The only problem one can think of that may be encountered is if they are low dosage pills.

Example, a 5mg pill would have a HEAP of inert binders with it. Therefor a CWE and evap could be the answer.

doesnt smoking the pill waste the amount of morphine you get? Swim think its kinda like comparing smoking weed to vaporizing it. swiy should look it up so swiy isnt dissapointed. Swims also herd that the high doesnt last as long but sims not sure

Just registered and ive just stumbled on this topic and am quite intrested in it as i can get the 200mg teal green mst continus tablets. Ages ago i tried about quarter of a tablet (50mg) on the foil but all it did was burn/frazzle up, tasted like absolute S*** and i cant really say i felt anything off it!!! Why is this do you lot have low tolerances or do i have a huge tolerance? I started buying mst's instead of heroin 2 years ago because of the bad quality of the street gear in birmingham. I know there is strong stuff about but the high up dealers keep it for their selves or for their friends and runners because of this I started on the 30's then progressed to the 60's followed by the 100's then the 200's. I take in between 400-600mg a day orally and im on 80mg of methadone and 2x 60mg dihydrocodeine continus a day. Help any1?

swim takes 30 MSC and 20mgs IR, together around 50mgs... Swim doesn;t have the funds to carry all that weight ( 200mgs - 400mgs ) a day .. no way that just a dream or a goal... Swim has IV both tabs after 100x of filtering process and learned the hard way !!!!!!!!!OCUH!

the primary active constituent in opium is morphine meconate. the more infamous mode of ingestion of opium is smoking/volatization. so of course morphine can be smoked. MS CONTINs extended release binders may cause problems though. but the smoking of morphine is not only a viable route of administration, but one of the oldest and most popular. hope that answers the question. =)

of course morphien is smokable swim used to get diamorphine 100mg reefers perscribed, the chemist used to disslove the mixture in cloreform and then inject it into a cigeret that swim used to have to supply yourself weekly swim used to get 5x100mg diamorphine reefers daily from our doctor 20% of the reefer used to be lost in smoke but the doc made up for that by giviing an extra 1, there used to be 60mg aswell, was a real ingenious way of getting heroin addicts off street gear, but sadly like all drug scripts these days is methadone even methadone used to get perscribed this way but there was no real high or euphoria like diamorphine so it wasnt very popular were swim lived very sad state of affairs these days with the methadone mill regime

So would this be a better means of consumption than taken orally. SWIM has looked but can't find any bioavailability information for inhalation. Does anyone know if this is a more or less efficient way to use morphine than orally or insufflated?

Smoking M in SWIM's oppinion takes practice.You could absolutely loose ALOT if it's not done correctly(that dosn't mean that this method shouldn't be tried as it's SWIM's prefered method).If SWIY is worried about loosing any of their goods then SWIY's best bet would be insufflated.The bioavailability is much better than orally.On the other hand SWIY might want to try browning it to get that semi-IV feeling.Good Luck!!

I'm confused.....
first, what the hell is browning/crisping?
and second, I thought opiates HATE heat, and get destroyed in the process. But this doesn't apply to morphine sulfate? To what I believe, opiates all come from the same plant, so they're all going to have similar chemical properties, so what would make morphine different from the codeine family? Now I'm remembering opium and heroin are both smoked, so I guess the better question would be why not codeine? And as for bioavailibility, is better than just poppin' it? Of course smoking does sound fun, but worth wasting some (possibly)?

Crisping is taking a ER pill and crushing it into powder and then slightly heating it to kill the time release mechanism. People often do this to ER morphine tabs and then IV them. SWIY could also snort the crisped powder.

1. Injecting a preparation based on the TEK in the second post is sheer lunacy. Obviously, melting the wax in the pill is not going to remove it. This seems redundant to me.

By crisping SWIY would be trying to remove the binders from pills that gel up when water is added to them,and to overcome the time release mechanism.This however does NOT make the pill absolutely injectable.

I'm sorry but this thread is about SMOKING MORPHINE. I know there is a way to make it into a base using either Calcium Carbonate or Sodium Carbonate. What are instruction to do so if SWIM wanted the extra knowledge? What ratio's do you have to use per each MG? anyone??

Heroin NO3 is designed to smoke.It will run up and down on a piece of tin foil..So would mixing morphine and caffeine powder give the same affect?..Also what if morphine powder was mixed with baking soda and water ,heated and once congealed, filtered and dried,would you end up with smack-crack?

No. Maybe if you turned it into heroin before hand via homebake heroin method, but SWIY just have morphine crack, if that were to even work. But definently not smack crack unless they homemake it before hand....
