Fermentation of poppy tea.

O.K. SWIM has a couple of questions about the process of making opium flake.

Is it in anyway bad if the water and poppy straw mixture ferments? Can you just continue to evaporate as before or does it destroy the goods?

When evaporating at anything higher than room temperature, SWIM gets a white crust around the rim if the pryrex dish. What is this? If it’s white does that mean SWIM’s burnt the goods or is this, in fact, the goods themselves?

Lastly, I apologise if this should have been part of the epic guide from Samurai but I wasn’t sure if that thread was done and dusted.

Cheers.
