permanent acid trip? is that possible?

so, SWIM was looking to buy some acid, and asking around, SWIM found a friend who was going to buy some. now, SWIM has never done acid, so he was only going to buy one or two hits. he also had a friend who said shrooms were better, but to try acid anyway. when it was time for the deal to go down, SWIMs friend told him that the acid the guy sold was so intense it could send you into a permanent trip. now, as appealing as that sounds, SWIM knew that wasnt a practical option. now, SWIM knows that with any drug there can be adverse effects, which can be pretty serious, but he was just wondering if this was possible. SWIM decided to try shrooms until he could find some not-permanent acid.

There is no such thing as "permanent" acid. Read up on lsd basics and learn about dosage ect. There are many untrue urban ledgends about acid. Read up on the condition HPPD to see where alot of the rumors stem from.

Yes, a permanent trip isn't going to happen.

However, permanent damage is possible (though even this can be argued and if it happens, it's always from either excessive use or extremely high dosage) though this is extremely rare. Most agree that LSD alone is not the cause but the catalyst to an underlying psychosis.

Basically if LSD-25 were sending people into permanent trips it wouldn't be a recreational drug for all of these years.
