Re: strongest otc pain reliever
tylenol? SWIY is not going to find anything in the opiate class otc. If SWIY is in extreme pain and cannot see a doctor he might want to try buying some poppy straw and making some laudenum(sp) or extracting the goodies.

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
Swim tore his knee up about 9 years ago and just had his ACL replaced about 6 months ago and honestly he can deal with the pain with just ibuprofen on a normal day. Swiy aint findin any opiates OTC in the US anyway.
Swim is a ski patroller and after a hard day of skiing swim needs a little more than just advil. Swim found it fairly easy to get a soma script for his knee. And a couple advil, 1-3 soma depending on how bad, and an ice pack really do the trick. And swim doesn't have to depend on the much more addictive opiates to deal. It might not seem like much but it works, swims knee has been feelin just fine in the mourning, ready for the slopes. Swims advice is to try and get a script to one of the following muscle relaxers in this order(best to worst that i've tried for my knee): soma, flexeril, zanaflex all work well, even methacarbamol works OK. If your knee pain is legit, then it shouln't be hard to get a script to one of these. Trust swim and at least give it a chance, Swiy will be suprized. Peace |

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
SWIM got his through a muay thai accident a year ago. He completely bent his knee inward (sideways) and wouldve needed surgery if he didnt straighten it out when he got back up, which hurt more than bending it. His dumbass sparring partner had heel kicked him on the side of his knee while SWIM was on 1 leg. A day later his dumbass doc said that it was temporary and should wait 2 weeks for it, but nothing happened besides it getting worse. SWIM will go with your advice and try the whole muscle relaxant thing, but hell never give up opiates because they work the best and are SWIMS drug of choice wherever and whenever. Thanks for the advice on the relaxants. Definetley a new approach to knee pain for SWIM to hear about.

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
I keep hearing about kratom and it being the drug of choice for when a person runs out of ops. SWIM will try this after he extracts a batch of poppy seeds and drinks the horrid tasting tea again. From what SWIM has experienced, the tea only gives him an op high but very little pain relief if any at all. Good high though.
Hell just stick to the excederin for now and wait until he goes to the doc for some real ops. Thanks for the replies.

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
SWIM has also had a balky knee since his high school football and wrestling glory days. It was never quite bad enough to have surgery (or a better way to look at it was the Dr. was quick to point out since SWIM wasn't going to do Athletics in university that i should just let it heal naturally). Well due to this especially when its really cold or lots of rain is in the air my knee goes absolutely insane. SWIM found the best thing to be two or three Tylenol and some buds. When SWIM has something important to do and can't hangout with Mary Jane, then he just doubles down on the Tylenol, but he also said this don't work nearly as well especially when the knee swells badly.

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
Swim cant blaze anymore, but when swim could some advil and weed did wonders for his knee and back(years of b-ball and skiing have given me a bum back too). Especially while on the slopes as it kept the muscles from tensing up. So if swiy can smoke it will help a lot.
Also swim really does find that he likes ibuprofen better than Acetaminophen. It helps more with the swelling along with the pain. Better all around swim thinks. Nowadays swim stands strongly for the ibuprofen and soma combo when swim is in his normal pain. That way when swim does have a bad day with worse pain than normal, he doesn't have a tolerance to the opiates so he gets the relief he needs. Peace |

Re: strongest otc pain reliever
You could buy Kratom online. Other than that, ibuprofen is probably it in the United States.
