Purity - HELP! SWIM bought .25 and is heavily cut with baking soda

First off allow me to say hi (it's my first posting) and say I'm so thrilled to have found all of you!~ What a great place to exchange thoughts!

SWIM purchased some powder but after examination, realized it was heavily cut. Hell, even went as far as to taste a touch like baking soda; needless to say it has been heavily stomped by Baking soda.
SWIM looked though posts and found where dissolving the stomped stuff in 90% or better rubbing alcohol, extracting the liquid, pouring the alcohol and cocaine on to a pyrex dish to evaporate in the oven would work.
SWIM tried it and after about 10 hrs the plate in the oven seemed to be covered in an oily grime, not a powder.
Any insight on what went wrong and/or how to remedy?

Also the method of ingestion SWIM enjoys is intravenously, anyone know the harm trace levels of alcohol or acetone may have if directly injected in the blood stream?

SWIM does not have experience purifying cut cocaine. However, any sort of alcohol IV will result in overwhelming pain.

.25 g is not a bad loss if swims product is unusable, possibly not worth the efforts.

alcohol is very painful IV and acetone in any level would be horrible to put into your body. The alcohol should all evaporate off if heated though, most of the acetone should as well, however injecting any acetone is not worth the risk of likely .10 or less of actual cocaine(since the cutting agents likely make up most of the weight).

Swims adviceto swiy, discard it and find a better dealer, or have some fun trying to recrystalize it for future knowledge. Swim believes there are some threads on cocaine purification. check the search engine.

Swim researched acetone in further depth after deserving some unwarrented reputation. Acetone is not a carcinogen... it is far less dangerous then I had thought however it is still not advisable to consume a large quanity, and there is no research regarding IV exposure to acetone, also it is known to be toxic to the liver. I apologize for the misinformation and this may make for an easier extraction for swilolly.

Since that is the case one might consider looking into alternate purification teks. A simply google search of "cocaine purification" yields numerous results.

No matter what SYIY decides to do, please avoid IV'ing anything that contains alcohol. Ouch.

I doubt that traces of alcohol or acetone would be too painful or harmful. But in case the OP was thinking about injecting the "oily grime," those are NOT trace amounts.

SWIM was thinking le junks acetone wash would help but he is unsure of the solubility of baking soda in acetone.....Either way, his TEK couldn't hurt unless you mess up pretty badly.

In another time and dimension swim bought a book on the acetone wash. Swim had worked around acetone for many years previously and bought a book on the subject. The book did not go into the detail of cleaning the acetone and swim purchased the acetone at a hardware store. Swim was also moderately trained in chemistry.

Lesson learned the acetone was less than pure leaving swim with pure coke in a soft goo like glob.
Follow the procedures closely and experiment with a small amount first.

As I mentioned this was in another time, swim often imported the product directly from the labs before crack downs on chemicals needed to make good products in foreign countries were introduced. Hard cakes 3/8 to 1/2 inch first had to be broken with a hammer then smashed with pliers, then spoons, a long process but rewarding. Swim tried wash before such quality was available to him.

Our government kindly stopped the flow of chemicals to foreign countries, now creating a product that is often contaminated at the source with more contaminates introduced along the way.

Swim said he gave the product up due to the left over diesel fuel smell and difficulty obtaining clean acetone. Swim said he might indulge again with clean acetone certainly the key in the wash teck.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback.
SWIM too works in chemistry and am familiar with various acid washes, however after learning how crack is made from cocaine, SWIM realized that they got halfway to making he crap!
SWIM did a sample with the alcohol and got nothing, then did a rather meticulous acetone wash, and got a nice clean smooth powder, unfortunatley it wasn't coke.
SSWIM shirked it up to a; "always try it before you leave" lesson learned in a hard way (

SWIY should just finish it off. No sense in weak snow hanging around. Shovel that shit up! P.s. Baking soda is just baking soda, it won't hurt SWIY aside from the extra shit going up SWIY's nose.
