stopping that not-so-subtle but ohhhh so persistent itching???!
Any tips on this for swim? other than, say not doing it at all?

Forgot to mention, swim experiences this to an insane degree with any kind of opiate/opioid, his main problem is methadone. He loves methadone, it keeps him from being miserable with the chronic pain he suffers, but sometimes it makes him feel shittier than not doing it at all, especially when you factor in the RIDICULOUS itching any time SWIM's body makes contact with another surface

Benadryl™ (diphenhydramine)works for some.

Yes, antihistamines like promethazin and the above mentioned diphenhydramine can help in soothing the itch. Both are available OTC atleast where SWIM is at.

agreed with all of the above. It is a high histamnic production that opiates induce which produce the itching one is experiencing. an OTC anti-histamine should calm it down.
