Ru, Au, bank accounts and legal issues

Hi all,

I've read the forum rules and I want to be clear SWIM is not trying to solicit business and any contact made for that purpose will be ignored. SWIM has a genuine legal enquiry, and can't ask the question without giving details.

SWIM is considering sourcing GBL from China, and selling it online, using an Australian bank account to collect funds. Is SWIM doing anything illegal?

ie In Australia GBL is illegal as an ester(I think)of GHB. But money earned from the sale of GBL in another country, which is deposited into an Australian bank account as payment for such. Is that illegal?

SWIM might import bulk amounts to Russia (where SWIM lives) for sale or open a warehouse in China. Just to be clear, the GBL will never be in Australia. SWIM doesn't want to break laws or even come close so any advice is appreciated.
