home-made powdered urine question

I found a post here that said you can make your own powdered urine by pissing into a glass container, letting the urine evapoate, and scraping off the powder.

Has anyone ever tried this? And, if so, could someone go into greater depth as to how it's done? Thanks in advance.

I can remember that ive heard something a long time ago that when you eat some Aminata Muscaria the active substances will stay in the urine and can be ingested again, so they took urine let it evaporate and mixed this powder with tea to get a high from it.

They did it especially in russia where the rich people got high from Aminata and the poor ones had a stick with a glass or something bound on it to get the free high.

So yes its no problem to get powdered urine but youll need a little head i think.

The first question that comes to mind is: why would you want to?

I can think of two possible reasons: To be able to prepare clean urine for a test; or to recycle drugs that are passed in the urine largely unchanged.

The latter has been discussed many times on DF, and a search should pick up a few threads.

On the mechanism, although I've never done it I wouldn't think that just leaving a glass full of steaming piss around is a good idea. I would suspect that it would go manky before it evaporated to dryness. I doubt that boiling it down would be a smart move either.

The reason is for drug-testing. I have to be drug tested three times a month and I thought that rather than finding someone to always piss for me or buying the really expensive powdered urine urine I could just get clean, and then stock pile my own powdered urine.

I heard you could make your own powdered urine on another thread here but, like you said, it seems like just letting it sit around would get pretty disgusting. So, I want to know if anyone has ever actually tried this.

In a similar vein, if you've seen Gattica (good flick) you know they store urine samples in the fridge to get around testing. I'm curious if anyone knows if they could tell that the urine sample you gave them is actually 3 months old - maybe? Possibly not if all that is being tested for is drugs.

I wouldn't recommend it - but if you're going to anyway, check out how they do it in the movie. Might help.
