Opinions - safe to ask to up benzodiazepine dose?

up the dose w /same doc

SMIN has sever tourette syndrome and bipolar disorderand insomenia. He has tried every med on the block! Risperidal, Seroquel, Trilafone, Zyperxa,HALDOL, you name it@ SWIM also has oturette sndrome.

Mt current list of meds is:
.5mh clonopin x2/day, lithiutm ER 300mg x4/day, hydroxyzuie pam 50x3/day, opemeazole 40mg/day, metoprolol 20mg/day

I feel lieel the klonopin working, but still had tics. any recommendations on how to ask my doctor to raise the dose without seeing drug seeking? I just wantt o feel better. thanks!
