Marsofold Tek Questions...

Hello,

My octopus finally worked up the gumption to try a DMT extraction, just put my order in for a pound of Mimosa Hostilis rootbark, and has decided to use Marsofold's tek for its simplicity and speed. However, he has a few questions...

Actually, re-reading the tek he has only one question pertaining to it. Regarding the following section...

"After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off most of the liquid into a 1-gallon wide-mouthed glass or stainless container. Add the remaining water-vinegar solution to the crockpot again. Stir well and turn it on "high". After 2 hours, remove the crockpot ceramic liner, hold the lid on slightly offset, and pour off all of the liquid into the same container again."

This strikes my (slightly dyslexic) octopus as redundant, and he doesn't understand why the liquid needs to be transferred twice? "The remaining..." as in the liquid which had just been poured into the 1-gallon container? Or is it just straight water-vinegar soln, in an effort to get any remaining residue?

Also, he has another question. How would one go about preparing the crystals for intravenous use? He has a difficult time smoking, with a beak and all...
