SWIM had a great NYE..

Wow!

SWIM enjoyed just under a gram of MDMA from around 7.30ish on to about 3am, followed by some coke to sharpen up on the comedown, and nursed a large bottle of pre-mixed absinthe all night, before finally knocking down the gin when it was time to sleep (around 4.30-5am ish)

SWIM awoke around 9.30 feeling.. absolutely fine!! SWIM and his friends then marched into town, commandeered a local cafe, ordered a large set breakfast and drank copius amounts of tea, before retiring to his home with a couple of girls to lay down and rest after such a night.

Nae comedown, nae hangover.

Did anyone else have such a good time? Or did SWIM have a unique experience?

Well, SWIM still feels fine, and has had no adverse affects that he can notice.

SWIM thinks vuue might be jealous that SWIM can have a great time and not feel dire afterwards, because SWIM can keep his shit together.

Maybe you'd be happy if SWIM said he felt terrible? Too bad for you then..

The MDMA was spaced out nicely, over the course of the evening, maintaining a smooth gentle high.

SWIM was not sitting there and gulping down the absinthe either. It was well mixed, and drunk casually as and when required, balancing everything out and also giving a pleasant overall feeling of happiness and well-being.. SWIM was "merry"

Finally, SWIM was not doing mountains of coke all night, merely a couple of lines when the MDMA was gone and everyone was winding down, so that SWIM wouldn't crash out, SWIM intended to sit there with everyone and join the mandatory "we're all smashed and tired so lets have a sit down and revel in the memories of times past" kind of discussions.

Finally, SWIM sat and drank leaning back in an easy chair chatting with his compadre's until one by one, we all fell asleep.

SWIM uses, SWIM does not abuse.

I'm sorry if you got that vibe from the original post.

That being said.. if you can't get your head around that it's possible to enjoy various substances to such a degree with responsibility then.. well.. I guess that's your problem really.

Oh and, SWIM's new year is going very well so far =)

BlondieUK, I think they were criticizing your post because it sounds a bit like a registration form for a dick-sizing contest: "Look how many drugs SWIY did on New Years and didn't get a hangover! Can anybody beat that?"

By the way, I wouldn't call ingesting a gram of MDMA and drinking a bottle of absinthe in one night with a few lines of coke to top it all off "responsible drug use".

That being said, I'm glad you didn't end up in the hospital, and hope you had a Happy New Years.

Gosh, what a lot of piss for one bonfire! Probably not the most responsible intake for one night, but when was New Years about being responsible, especially in Britain? Whilst in no way condoning such excess, I wouldn't be surprised if that was a reasonably representative snapshot of many people's festivities, if not average weekends, or blow outs at the very least (one would like to hope not, but this is the real world right? A Certain Mouse has been known (renowned?) for pushing the boundaries of responsibility from time to time too!), especially taking into consideration random lines/dabs/swigs donated to others! Oh to be young again!

Yeah, it might sound like a registration form for a dick-sizing contest, but it also sounds like a grand way to bring in the year. I do get the feeling though, that (swift calculation done), Tuesday might be just around the corner - hope that crash wasn't just waiting to catch up! A Certain Mouse recommends a weekend or 2 off the partying, & a couple of weeks of fine food, 5-htp, & fruit juice just in case...

Ah! Yes, SWIM understands, SWIM re-read the original post and hence the explanation.. SWIM was braced to feel pretty terrible..!

SWIM had the same theory mouse, assumed a crash equal to that of the great depression (eh, pun) was about to occur.. but SWIM is thinking that he's somehow evaded such a thing.

SWIM feels that he was blessed with the spirit of new year =)

Oh and, Powder, SWIM did not ingest an entire gram, SWIM made a couple of bombs for his friends, then SWIM made the rest into bombs for himself and spaced them out along the course of the evening.. admittedly this is still alot, but it was done so that as each high began to come down he went right back up again =)

And yes.. the absinth was mixed properly.. and enjoyed like a glass of fine wine..

SWIM apologises again if he came across as "I've done all this and I'M ALIVE, WHOOOOP!".. it was meant to be something along the lines of "wow I had an incredible weekend on this, and to top it off I feel fine =)!"

Thankyou for the new years wishes, SWIM is spending the coming weekend with some close friends, a bottle or two of wine and some films.. SWIM is taking your advice about laying off.. although SWIM feels fine now, if SWIM parties too hard too soon, SWIM could snuff it XD ... and yes to fruit juice.. SWIM naturally drinks alot of pure orange juice and eats fairly healthy food... on a side note, SWIM also does not binge like this very often.. more often than not it's a few drinks and possibly a line or two, just chilling with friends and having a good time.. SWIM is not silly enough to think you can get away with partying too hard too often..!!!!

SWIM and his friends got very trippy pills on new years as well. The general consensus was that they were cut with acid, if not most likely 2CE/B, but thing is, SWIM has never found those substanes anywhere else in Britain, which is why acid seems like the easier thing to believe.
