Hi fellows. I first tried peyote on january 2 1998, I ate and smoked
some of it. Ever since that day I've continuosly seen colourfull
patterns on any white surface. As well as seen colourfull patterns
whenever I close my eyes. Sometimes I even see such patters take
different shapes and becoming 2d or 3d images, I basically trip without
need of any drugs. If I do smoke a joint then the colours become vivid
and images come in a flowed manner, as well as having
outer-body-experiences and learning words of unknown meaning - at least
to me - like, eusdaiki or inkisdaimoio.

Anyone else had similar experiences?

I've heard about it, just that I've never heard of it being related to peyote or other forms of mescaline.

How much peyote did he eat?

Is he's slow like a burnout's slow, or are his thoughts just wondering around in another planet..?

How long ago was this?

There's a couple of experiments that I
heard about, whose results may help your friend.

One was done adminestering mescaline to goldfish, and making them avoid
electric shock. It appears that it was more difficult for them to avoid
shocks after recieving mescaline.

THe reason was that while on mescaline the brain produced more
dopamine, and in turn it adapted to discarted more efficiently through
monoamine oxidation [MAO], when the mescaline dosage was over, the
brain continue to discart dopamine at the accelerated rate. Causing the
fish to become dumber.

The other article reffered to the ability of either dopamine
supresors[haloperinol] or serotonine antagonists to neutralize the
effects of mescaline in cats. It seems that mescaline effect is linked
directly to the interaction of both neurotransmitors, so by
neutralizing one of them, you neutralize the effect of mescaline.

So in short words. Your friend might be able to go back to normal by
taking a MAO inhibitor [MAOI]. He should check with a doctor first
though.

- BEWARE! not to take any MAOI's if already taking an SSRI or SNRI!!!! as this may cause death by serotonin syndrome.

Get your friend back on track with Tyrosine! If you can get your handson things like Piracetam and Hydergine. They will most certainly help tought processing.

he does have to understand why he is doing it, so that he has a focus!
