I just took 2 Darvocet N-100s and uh im on lexapro i checked some drug interaction websites and it seemed OK wish me luck

I've taken lots of painkillers on Lexapro10mg a day. Darvocet is a very weak painkiller so its hard to get high on them(at least for me)

But the way dont do coke on lexapro. It was real werid for me.Painkillers are ok though.

darvocet won't really get you high to begin with, iv only found it usefull for detox/withdrawal relief. Good luck

propoxiphen (spelling?) is an all together different buzz. almost stimulating rather than sedating. But for me I need to take about 5-6 to get a buzz from them. They also have an acumulative effect, having a long half life. But I think at this size of a dose it has to reap havok on your liver and gut. It is a very caustic drug (try crushing and snorting one ) or even taking it sublingualy BURN BURN BURN. Like nothing else.

Darvacet does not get you high? Does alcohol (like a beer or two) help with this. Theoretically of course, I am not asking because I am planning on doing so, just curious.

I've drank on it darv's and I didn't notice a big difference. You have to remember that this is about the weakest painkiller availible. It should be OTC in my opinion since it has little to none abuse potential.

I've never got high off darvocet orally. If you extractlike 500-1000mg of propoxyphene from them and IV (dissolve in ethanol not water) you can get a pretty decent rush. It's more effort than it's worth though. Other than that I'd rather abuse advil.Edited by: moldie

darv's are great for coming down from physhodelics. I always pop a 100mg at the 6 hour mark after taking 2c-e or 2c-i. lol it helps the come down and lets you sleep faster.

My friend took about 2 or 3 darvos and said it was great. She said it was more of an upper high than the mellow high of oxy.

Be careful popping too many darvies they seem to thin your blood more then other opiates. Once i took around six throughout the day at work and near the end of the day i started blacking out. This was during a time when i was used to eating between (4-8) 10/325 norcos a day so it wasnt a tolerence thing.


Now my damn tolerence is so high i dont even waste my time with vics and darvies i would probably od on the aceteminophen before i actually caught a decent buzz.


P.s. im not trying to sound as if im boasting its actually sad when it gets like this just remember thatserious addictionhappens without even really noticing. sorry thats enough preaching for now.

I took 3 100's last night.. i felt the typical opiate high.. nice warm feeling. As i laid down. it felt like i was playing a keyboard for some reason, and when i closed my eyes.. I could hear a beep from a respirator, and all these dragon like things tried to take me away.... who knows. I was paranoid that I od'ed

darvocet only work if youre actually in pain. I had plastic surgery and was given darvocet for the pain, they worked wonders with full analgesia, however one month later upon trying to taketwice my prescribed doserecreationally I found them not to work at all!

I agree. I take them because I


a. love the buzz and b. it's great for giving me energy.


I'm an ex heroin addict and I've also been addicted to morphine pills. It's awful comedown. I find the withdrawal from darvocets aren't too bad (I can take 10-20 in a day) but I am off them until I can get my rx filled so oh well. I should learn to get by on maybe 4 a day.


Any opiate I've ever taken gives me personally a stimulating effect. I'm weird that way.
