salvia divinorum questions? waht to do?

hey all im new to the whole salvia thing. i cant smoke mary jane anymore due to drug testsso im looking into sally d i knwo the experinces differ but i cant stand not being sober all the time so i wanna give her a try. im goign to buy a ounce of leaves and a gram of x5 extract. i have heard alot about measuring the extract in mg. is there a way to eye it up devide it into 5 piles or somthing.does it look liek a gram of weed or is it bigger?i have a large bong that has never been used before and a glass slide. will smoking jsut the leaves get me high or should i sprinkle the x5 on top of it. i knwo you need it super hot for it too work. i was also thinking of buying a metalpipe at the head shop in town and putting a screen in it for the extract. just was curious on wahtsome more hibutual usersdo?
