Meperidine - Basically Oral Demerol, any of SWIY's experience?

Long story short, SWIM laid his Harley Davidson NightRod down today... coming into his 200ft driveway same speed he always does, but this time when braking, the front end skidded as he drove over some sticks/twigs from the storm the night before.

Got a huge strawberry rash on right forearm, quarter sized rash on left palm...

Anyways, SWIM is okay, ego bruised more than anything.

Here's the question... ER doc x-rayed his hand (thought it was broken, but its fine), he gave SWIM a script for some stuff called "MEPROZINE" which is supposed to be demerol.

Damn, SWIM likes a good ope buzz, but doesnt want to get it this way through a wreck!

I hope this doesnt break any forum rules, I'm not asking for pill identification, but SWIM would point out that the pills he got are dark ruby red in color with a fine powder inside.

SWIM wants to know if this stuff can be smoked for an enhanced experience, or just stick to the oral route?

SWIM once aquired 10 meperidine pills. They were either 50mg or 75mg (can't remember exactly.) Keep in mind that SWIM was opiate tolerant, but started to take them but felt nothing, so he proceeded to snort one... DO NOT insufflate meperidine... it burned so bad, probably one of the worst things SWIM ever put up his nose. In the end, SWIM consumed all 10 pills (9 by mouth, 1 by nose) and still did not feel well.

Hahahhaa... Swim just found out the hard way not to snort meperidine!

Swim found he needed to take at least 3 to make the pain tolerable. Swim is back on Lortabs now.

SWIM has a problem with the promethazine in meprozine. The meperidine is nice, but SWIM wishes there was a way to separate the two. SWIM took two of them once to get more effect and wound up with a migraine that lasted for two days. One produces little opiate buzz and makes SWIM sleep too long.

Anyone know if there's some type of extraction SWIM can do to separate the two?
