Extraction - kratom extraction

not long ago swim bought 4 ounces of kratom to help with his opioid withdrawal which he is currently in the middle of . swim ground all his leaf into a fine powder and tried to eat some... lol. anyways he figured he may as well try an extraction. swim took all his powder kratom and soaked it in isopropyl alcohol and shook it around every once in a while and let it soak alltogether for about an hour. swim then filtered through coffee filters. swim let this dry in a baking dish overnight and almost all the alcohol evaporated but there was still a little left. swim scraped up all the residue and now has what looks like a 3 gram ball of heroin (tar). it looks like the kratom pies swim sees advertised from vendors. is this what they do? also, it is very mildy wet but doesn't smell any alcohol. there most likely is a tiny little bit in there. is it okay to eat? did swim even extract the desired alkaloids? swim feels like shit and really wants to eat some of this badly. any help would be awesome.
