kratom's stimulating effects

swim has read a lot of stuff on DF about kratom and read many reports. he often hears it is stimulating with an opiate like effect. he heard it is good for withdrawals which is also really good for swim. swim has heard kratoms comparison to things like codeine, tramadol, and hydrocodone. but what about the stimulant effects? what are they like. is it strong? is it like coffee, cocaine, amphetamines, or completely different. which is more common, stimulation, or sedation? dose the dosage for stimulation or sedation differ? can one acheive one and not the other? swim would love to hear more about this. swim also posted a thread just a little bit ago about taking buprenorphine and wonders if he will feel any stimulat effects from taking it while on suboxone. swim definately wants to know about the stimulation. thanks.
