i just recently moved to spain, and i was just wondering if anyone can tell me if growing cannabis at home is legal in Spain.

The answer to your question is apparantly quite a grey area and for that reason alone I would advise caution. Please also be aware that this article could be outdated, innaccurate or both.

Spanish law allows people to grow at home for their own personal consumption, as long as it doesn’t bother the neighbors. (But no buying or selling—that’s where the punishment applies.) The law is applied haphazardly, with some areas, such as Catalonia and Basque country, more liberal (although even within these areas, some communities are more stringent). Madrid, Valencia, Salamanca and the south of Extremadura continue to be conservative, while South Andalusia and other areas are somewhere in the middle.

Also, I recall threads about spanish cannabis clubs being posted on d-f. You may wish to search for such a club in your area as they are likely to have specific local information to hand.

SWIM lives in spain, SWIM has 2 plants, it has been explained to SWIM by spaniards that a household is allowed one plant per person over 18 and no more than 3 per household, so therefore normally 2 plants is a safe bet but even though this is quasi-legal the plants still have to be well hidden in SWIM's opinion.
