Opinions - Marijuana + Skiing/Boarding?

Swim has half a gram of dope and is boarding tomarro. Has any one done this? Is it fun, is it trippy, or is it lame and tiring? Could you give me your experiences?

My pet dragon has not done this but has had an experience he can relate to it somewhat. After blazing he and a friend decided to jump off the cliffs at the local beach. He was definitely more cautious about the jump than he would have been (then again he'd never jumped from that height before, it was a pretty high cliff), but once he forced himself to plunge, the fast movement was extremely exhilarating, probably more fun than it would have been (but a fun activity nonetheless).

Sounds like a very fun combination though, as long as SWIY can return to the lodge every now and then to get some eats :P

.5g really isn't that much. SWIM couldn't see much happening.

swim snowboarded last month and blazed alot. My only advice is to not over blaze so you don't get nervous on the mountains. Otherwise it's defently exciting and will make you feel cool when you're ripping the mountains! I think I might've had a little bit of a headache but it could be I didn't drink enough.

.5 of high quality will get swim higher that the Andes. Yea it's a cool combo with water boarding such as skiing, wakeboarding and knee boarding it makes things much more intense. Everything seems faster and such..you know. It might decrease your endurance a little and swim has noticed that it will lessen the high in a way, but it's fun.

Fun would be the best way to describe it, according to swim. Take swiy's time with it though, don't smoke it all at once.

Swim has gone snowboarding while blazed before. It was nice until he hit a rock that was covered with snow. Kinda ruined the high for him.

Cannabis is a performance enhancing drug for my goat when he is snowboarding. It can make you nervous if you are on icy pistes and aren't used to skiing high. On powder its one of my goat's favourite combinations. He sometimes feels like he is floating in the clouds, and his movements flow better. Its best to not smoke too much for one's first time, and definitely don't attempt stuff you normally can't handle.

SWIM toked up in the French Alps many years ago whilst snowboarding. He and his buddy would board halfway down a run and light up at the side to take it all in. Very very nice. They'd be laughing at the ski bunnies desperately racing down the slopes just so's they could get in as many runs as possible whilst they were happier to experience quality over quantity.

But then SWIM always felt that Boarders and Ski Bunnies were likely to enjoy different kinds of highs anyway.

As said above, don't do it if SWIY wants to try something new. Shit, SWIM got so ripped he ended one particular afternoon having to finish off the remainder of his journey down on his inside edge cos he couldn't commit to carving a turn!!!

SWIM always does this...infact SWIM cant remember ever going boarding straight!!!

SWIM is a relatively decent and enthusiastic Skier (and pot smoker :P).

Anyway swim has smoked and been on the mountains a couple of times and knows several friends who have done it a lot. Basically if you can snowboard or ski well and normally smoke weed there isnt a problem, the sensation of actually skiing is better and the views are staggering. The best thing swim has done is found a farm animal hut off the piste and chilled, had some sandwiches and lit up a few huge j's.. in front of swim and mates was an amazing alpine view and powder snow all around with no1 in sight!

Swim says weed and boarding is a brilliant idea, just don't smoke too much if swiy doesn't smoke a lot normally and don't board too fast or stupidly, jus chill and enjoy it

Oh yeah and swim has also suffered from headaches due to even smoking cig's when skiing, i think its a combination of higher altitude (depending how high up u go), lack of water in some cases perhaps, and the pure fact that your body is exercising and doing a fair amount of work when skiing/boarding, so essentially smoking anything would hinder ur bodies muscles from taking in oxygen right..?

If SWIY is going to be hitting the park, SWIM would not recommend getting high. SWIM did this once and went to the park and it was like his first year again, he was too cautious and was hitting everything too slow and getting in everybody's way.

If SWIY is just riding, enjoying the runs and view, smoking + boarding/skiing is pretty damn fun.

But in SWIM's opinion, it's best for the ride home.

wow.... the stories SWIM has on this topic...


Swim and his older brother took a trip up to the snow and decided to bring along an ounce of bud. sitting in their hotel room smoking blunt after bowl and such they decided to go boarding. Swim tells me that it was the best time he's had boarding...ever. but it also made Swim act veeery silly and not wear enuff warm clothing so Swim froze his little butt off after an error in depth and judgment caused him to jump off the side of a quarter pipe into a pile of fresh powder.... all in all Swim says it rocks and would love to do it again.

oh and ps. Swim says you shouldnt talk a pipe and try to smoke on a ski lift because you might drop it which is what almost happened to Swims favorite $60 usd pipe... :P
