To gather raw opium from pods do they have to be fresh or dried. Also about how much raw opium will i get from 10 large pods or 10 small pods?

It depends on the technique used.

Tech 1] Bleed the pods via incision or pin pricks, allow to bleed, collect the bleed (raw opium latex) This can be further refined using the CFO technique.

Tech 2] Dry Opium poppy pods, use CFO technique to extract cooked opium.

If one happened to be using 10 pods the yield would vary. It varies because of specific poppy variety, pod size, alkaloid content, the environment it was grown in, the age of the pods etc etc etc etc.

If one happened to be using 10 pods then one would say that a yield of about 1 to 2 gr TOPS of CFO "could" be achieved depending on those factors.

On another note, do not refer to yourself. the use of SWIM (someone who isnt me) to refer to . . err SWIY (someone who isnt you) is the way things are done. Try not to do anything to self incriminate.
