SWIM is in the process of doing an A/B on some san pedro, however after his first pull he ended up with only about 1/2 the naptha he started with.
In his jugs he had the clearer layer of naptha on the top(about 1/4-1/2 inch), then he had a bubbly mucusy light colored layer(about an inch), then a dark colored purely liquid layer(about 2 inches), followed by the largest layer of plant material suspended in a clear liquid(about 6 or 7 inches).
SWIM took only the clear layer the first pull and got about 500 ml instead of almost 1000ml.
Is SWIM missing something? Is the naptha in the mucusy layer? or maybe the dark colored liquid layer?
It did not evaporate because he had both jugs closed.
This is what they look like without the clearer top layer. Also notice how they seperate differently?
Could SWIM put the jugs in the freezer after the 24 hour extraction period to help further seperate the naptha from the other layers?
Any suggestions would be great.
