Opana (oxymorphine) dosing

swim should be receiving one 20mg Opana ER, swim has a small tolerence and is wondering how this can me taken. Like break it in half, chew a fourth, etc. Swim is not at all firmiliar with this stuff and doesnt wanna end up ODing on it or wasting it as their somewhat pricey.

If SWIM's tolerance is small he needs to know that by breaking the pill or crushing it he will cause it to become a IR.

Swim would suggest starting with NO MORE than a 1/4 of the pill. This stuff is strong. When Swim was new to opiates, 4mg hydromorphone snorted (similar drug) would knock Swim around good, pretty strong. Now with a big tolerance, Swim does about 10-12mg.

FYI, rectal and snorting are at least 2x as strong due to increased bioavailibility. Eating this stuff is an absolute waste.
