Demerol

SWIM used Demerol for awhile. Somewhere between 50 to 100 where insufflated over period of about a month.

SWIM is wondering what are the possible consequences for doing this. SWIM read/heard that demerol can cause brain damage. SWIM is also wondering what other problems can arise from excessive demerol insufflation whether it be physical or mental (i.e nose destruction, cancer, etc). SWIM said addiction has already been broken obviously since they havent done it in a year.

SWIM said their face felt like it was getting eaten away slowly still after use of demerol had been done with for about a year or slightly less.

SWIM does not recommend demerol being used by insufflation!!!!!!

swim is a moderate user/abuser of demerol and has never heard of cancer or brain damage as a result of using it. he has heard that snorting it IS bad for swiy tho, cuz of all the shit thats in the pills, but its bad to snort pills anyway!

swim Hates the tolerance that builds up, swim knows that Niacin helps lower THC tolerance but would it help with opiate tolerance to?

Norpethidine, the main metabolite of pethidine (the active ingredient in Demerol, aka meperidine), causes seizures and is considered neurotoxic. In clinical settings, persons with kidney damage are much more likely to experience seizures following repeated treatment with pethidine, but high doses (as those taken for recreation) could certainly cause trouble. Thanks Paracelsus you beat swim to what he was going to say.Swim also finds tolerance to demerol(meperidine)develops much too quickly,almost overnight.Not one of swims favorite opiates for these reasons.

Pethidine use in hospitals has actually been discontinued in some countries because of the side effects. It is easily researched . . google "pethidine" and check out some of the MAD side effects it has in a rather large percentage of people as compared to other analgesics.
