No Super potent skunk: THC content of Dutch cannabis decreases from 20% to 16%

At the start of all the hype about super cannabis and mega potent grass in 2001, the Dutch government has started research into the actual THC content of cannabis. There has indeed been a rise in THC content from 2000 - 2004, but this since then the THC level has seriously decreased and THC levels in 2006 and 2007 have been decreasing from 20% in 2004 to 16% in 2007. So overall there is no rise in THC, but actually a decrease.

The study can be found here: http://www.trimbos.nl/default450.htm...d=926&back=446

AFAIK the Dutch government is the only government to actually study this. If anyone has supplementary information, then that would be very welcome.
