Muscle seizure

Swim took about 160mg of MDMA on an evening out.
At one point whilst walking up some stairs his calf muscle seized up and swim had to sit down on the stairs and it took about 5 painful minutes for the muscle to relax..
Is this a common side effect of MDMA?

My friend says could have just been a normal muscle cramp. Ever get those in the morning when you're half asleep and you stretch your leg out, and the cramp goes all the way down it, feels like it's in a massive vice. Awful.

Swim has never had any sort of cramp before though.. seems strange that he wasnt doing anything out of the ordinary when it came on. Swims leg still feels sore now like hes pulled a muscle

Swim has had this before on a few occasions. Both lower calves would cramp up severely and it was extremely hard to walk up or down stairs. Nothing to be alarmed about IMO.

When on MDMA some people, if not most, tend to flex their muscles more than usual without really noticing. No research done on this, but Swim and many friends agree with this statement.
