Combinations - Doxylamine Succinate + Dextromethorphan?

SWIM was talking to someone recently who claims to have done NyQuil trips on many occassions. When he asked this person what was in the NyQuil that made them trip, they couldn't give him an answer(he's pretty sure they're full of shit). So he took a look at all the types of NyQuil the store had to offer and found the only two actives that might make anyone trip are DXM and Doxylamine Succinate, an anti-histamine. SWIM has been reading up on Doxylamine Succinate and he's found that for the most part it has little to no recreational value. SWIM wonder's though that a combination of DXM and Doxy might make for a completely different experience? SWIM is wondering if any of SWIY's have had any experience with these two drugs at recreational doses? Any light you can shed on the subject would be appreciated.

In the US, NyQuil is well known for being used by kids to get "fucked up." It is also known for numerous hospitalizations with users in serious condition. NyQuil is available in many formulations - common ingredients are: DXM, doxylamine, acetaminophen, alcohol, phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine. Can cause serious antihistamine poisoning, acetaminophen poisoning, etc. Not recommended for recreation.

To elaborate some more on what Paracelsus has said..
A few months back SWIM bought a generic Nyquil with only doxylamine succinate and DXM and drank about half the bottle (approx. 150mg DXM).
Definitely not worth it, SWIM felt nothing but overwhelming sleepiness, the doxylamine thoroughly knocked him out. The high levels of doxylamine also had noticeable (UNCOMFORTABLE) anticholinergic effects too. And this is just the Nyquil with these 2 basic ingredients; every other Nyquil contains even more dangerous substances like Paracelsus has said. Tell SWIM's buddy that he could seriously hurt himself if he continues tripping with Nyquil

Yeah SWIM knows all this. SWIM wasn't asking about the stuff for his own personal use, he just wants to educate himself on the subject so that when he tells his cousin that she's a stupid fuckin idiot that knows nothing about drugs and probably only does them to "be cool" and fit in with all her little scene friends, he knows what he's talking about.

So no, SWIM never plans on trying this himself, but good lookin out.

SWIM is a very experienced and responsible DXM user. she is always cautious about ingredients and dosage.
her favourite type of cough medicine is the generic maximum strength "tussin" with alcohol. active ingredient: dextromethorphan
running in at second place is the generic "nighttime cough". active ingredients : dextromethorphan and doxylamine succinate.

she takes doxylamine succinate often non-recreationally as a sleep aid and finds no intoxicating or unusual side effects. it is a relatively harmless antihistamine.

SWIM still does not understand why "nighttime cough" with doxylamine succinate has a greater euphoric body-buzz than other DXM-based medicines (with the exception of above mentioned brand which generally boasts a considerably higher DXM ration per mL)

SWIM recommends caution experimenting with ANY chemical or intoxicating substance but finds 295mL or less of "nightime cough" for an experienced DXM user worth giving a try.
-however be forewarned the doxylamine succinate is a very effective sedating antihistamine so sleepiness is likely to occur.
SWIM finds the drowsys easy enough to fight off with sugar, caffeine and upbeat music
