Best UK pill to extract Codine from?

Hi i have heard that some tabs are better than others when it comes to extracting, (not that i would want to know as it is my pet shit-shu that want to do the CWE)

anyway he has heard that nurofen are a tart when it come to CWE.

which brand does SWIY like to use?

the ones from lloyds pharmacy seem to work fine, their own brand. I think they do 8/500 and 8/400, go for the 400s. less chance of your liver exploding if something goes wrong.

Nurofen Plus tablets contain 12.8mg Codeine Phosphate and 200mg Ibuprofen, and are available at just about any pharmacy in the UK including the mini pharmacies in supermarkets. It comes in packs of 12, 24 and 32 tablets.

Ibuprofen is virtually insoluble in water so you can use more water for the extraction than with Paracetamol, which makes the filtration process easier. I don't know the exact solubility of Ibuprofen but I think it's in the order of 1mg/ml, so it should be safe to use a few hundred ml of water.

I don't know why many people seem to prefer the Paracetamol-based tablets to Ibuprofen-based ones when it comes to extractions.

My ferret isn't a fan of nurofen plus, as the tablets contain alot of fillers compared to other brands and he also finds that they filter alot slower, and he is an impatient little guy! But it does have its advantages, namely; high-ish codeine content compared to other pills.

Nope, unfortunenately not There are only two OTC codeine products available in the Netherlands, they are Bronchosedal cough syrups, one of them is the extra strong formulation, and I can't remember the name of the other one. They contain 0,5mg codeine phosphate per ml of syrup, so that's 50mg for the 100ml bottles, and 100mg for the 200ml bottles. They are very expensive, and just not worth taking it to get a high from. I won't mention the specific prices, but 200mg of Codeine would cost one an insane amount of money, in comparisson to the effects of 200mg. Codeine/paracetamol formulations are prescription only, so all in all, recreational doses of codeine cannot be obtained in the Netherlands, unless one wants to spend a ridiculous amount of money.

Indeed they are cheap and produce a nice high, no binders or other stuff inside either (capulet ones). Dont forget your boots card to get the points!

Also while were on the subject of pill brand my Dalek used a different brand recently it was a polish one he thinks, he didnt like it that much. He actually saw what a binder was and it tasted a little different. He finds the boots pills have a distinct taste and hes ok with that.

While I agree it could flag your account. Whats the problem with occasionally buying co-codamol otc if its all legal?

But I hear what your saying. Could it cause any problems in the long run? Swim only buys it once or twice a month and as he mentioned concidering its legal he cant find a problem. But yeah he has thought about his list.

Swim used to work in a shop in the Uk and certain things would flag when a person bought too much of it. Paracetomol, fertilizer, etc.
Although it may not flag if swim doesnt use their loyalty card and pay in cash, the till operator is well within their rights to not serve swim, and even call the police. Swims friend did this when they worked in a large DIY store and a dude came in 4 days in a row getting the maximum amount of fertilizer they were allowed, so they called the police on him, turns out he was just fertilizing a huge plot of land, but still. lol



Oh, and to stay on topic. Solpadeine Soluble has reasonably high levels of codeine in it. And its available without prescription.

SWIM is currently taking Solpadol effervescent ("blackcurrant" flavour) tablets. They contain 30/500mg Codeine Phosphate/Paracetamol respectively. SWIM has noticed that ALL Solpadol tablets he has tried are extremely eager to dissolve in water, even the non-effervescent ones. Solpadol tabs contain Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate, rather than just Codeine Phosphate. This makes it easier to dissolve them, and AFAHK (as far as he knows!) that won't hurt the CWE process at all.

SWIM recommends his nice, strong Solpadol tabs! Haha. Obviously these are on prescription, as SWIM needs them legitimately, but in SWIM's days of regular Codeine (ab)use his vice of choice were Solpadeine, not dissimilar to Solpadol in price/shape.

SWIM tells me the very very best are the pure Codeine Phosphate pills. SWIM's mother suffers from rheumatoid Arthuritis, and was given a box of 20 x 15mg Codeine Phosphate pills. Each pill was tiny. No need for CWE.

Obviously, SWIM seriously discourages the badgering of GP's for meds destined to be abused, but this is simply his opinion. (and mine... tis a bit wrong, like)

Swim informed me of the following. Maximum daily dosage of Ibuprofen is 3200mg under the guidance of a doctor. This equates tn 4 Nurofen plus at 12.8mg each (51.2 total) He adds to this 2 solpodol for another 60mg of codeine.

It's not actually legal, you just won't be prosecuted if you're cought smoking weed, and 18 years or older. There a maximum purchase limit per visit to a coffeeshop, no more than 5 grams in total per purchase, and you won't be prosecuted if you're caught with less than 25 grams. Sorry for going offtopic, but I just wanted to add this to clear some up

That's actually a pretty interesting topic..so basically you mean that you won't be "prosecuted" if you're of age(over 18) and get caught smoking weed INSIDE a coffeeshop but you'd get in trouble if caught OUTSIDE?

Basically, cops could bust you right there in the coffeeshops as well, since it's still illegal to consume cannabis by law(unless you're prescribed it for medical reasons, terminal cancer pain, MS etc.), but it's just a general agreement made by the goverment not to prosecute misdemeanor cannabis offences, like possesion of less than 5 grams of cannabis, or the use of cannabis in coffeeshops. I haven't heared of anyone being prosecuted for smoking cannabis outside coffeeshops though, but it wouldn't amaze me if cops in the conservative Christian part of the Netherlands actually give warnings and write out tickets for it. By law, they're allowed to do that.

Well I'll be damned! Was always certain it was just 100% legal. I knew it was illegal to sell, you'd just buy expensive coffee, but I didn't know it was illegal to posess/consume/buy.

Anyhoo - got another cheapie Co-Codamol junkie's best friend to add: Tesco! They have their own brand Paracetamol/Codeine painkillers. 8.5mg Codeine, 500mg Paracetamol. Not sure of the price, but if their 16p packs of Paracetamol are anything to go by, then pretty darn cheap!

When i was a shop worker i used to have to refuse to sell over (i think) 2 packets of (32 in both) at a time, and after we had some pointless training on the subject, i have in the past refused someone strong painkillers (bought max amount 2 days in a row and refused them the third time). But thats problably the longest i'd wait, i mean, how can you refuse someone painkillers with 2-3 days or more in between purchases?


Swiy's best bet would be to go straight into a store, ask to speak to the manager, and ask for them to order swiy in a shit tonne of packs of desired medication and claim swiy works in a cash and carry or costcutter or some small independant shop. (Although it would be recomended that one orders a few cases of beer/cola or something thats on offer as well so as not to raise suspicion.)

The shop i used to work in, we had people from small newsagents etc coming in and asking for us to order like 60 cases (6x 1litre in 1 case) of buy one get one free coke. Then the manager would use his discount card on the purchase as a thanks for buying. Everybody wins.

SWIM lives in a place with only one boots pharmacy and one other pharmacy. It's a pain in the ass as he is so paranoid that they are onto him, he buys maybe a pack of N+ from the non-boots pharmacy maybe every two weeks (32 pack) and then buys the own brawn co-codamol from boots. Two weeks is quite a gap between purchases, but it's always the same checkout person as I usually go in the evening and he is sure they know him by now.

He has been considering just buying it all online. Is there any negatives when buying co-codamol regularly from online UK pharmacies? Will they get suspicious or do they not care?

Only proper licensed pharmacies are allowed to sell codeine containing medications in the UK, as they are classed as OTC. Regular shops can have paracetamol and ibuprofen, but not anything with codeine. Not even Superdrug has codeine containing products. Attempting to buy such large amounts of a drug with such controls on it will inevitably arouse suspicion, and if they ask for some kind of proof you run a small pharmacy (I'd imagine most would have some other means of getting medications), you might get into trouble.

I remeber the time my Dalek was a little sloppy and visiting the same boots 2-3 times that week. The guy clocked on and questioned him about it. He replied he had a lot of migraines (he read the instruction leaflet why you should use codeine and migraines was one of them).

The pharmacist then replied 'I used to be like you, do you know what I did? I Found jesus, You should try praying to Jesus. Ill pray for you" My Dalek thanked him took the pills and walked out

swim has been using panadol ultra mainly out of habit. paracetamol 500mg, codeine phosphate 12.8mg (co-codamol). was wondering if swiy has taken them and how they think they compare to others?

Hmm, if swiy is paranoid, swim recomends not buying online, it may not be as private and confidential as one would hope.

Im pretty sure online retailers are obliged by law to disclose anyone buying large quantities of products known to be questionable in any way.
Swiy should look up local and national laws, swim doesnt want to be responible for approving the method of obtaining it, when it could be breaching laws.
Also a lot of online pharmacies have a qty limit + time limit per customer/card (similar to buying gig tickets or football tickets.
