Fentanyl Patch Advice for the Timid

SWIM would like to some advice about Fentanyl patches.

In the beginning SWIM was very cautious with SWIMs Fentanyl. The 50mcg and or 100mcg patches were only worn, as directed. Although SWIM never got the desired / talked about feeling from wearing the patches.

SWIM has a high tolerance. SWIM is able to take around 450mg+ of Oxycodone a day without problems.... of course that has been worked up to over time.... and SWIM is not proud of that fact.

SWIM did quite a bit of research on which way the Fentanyl was going to be re-administered. Smoking sounded a tad too rough and SWIM never felt comfortable with needles. SWIM decided that eating the gel and or chewing the "plastic matrix" was the way to go.

Swim started out VERY slow... as EVERYONE should with this drug (and all). Two BB sized amounts were eaten... not held on the cheek or nder the tongue... eaten. This gave some effect but not what SWIM was looking for. SWIM spaced out the doses over a few hours to make sure everything would go smoothly. After about three weeks on and off, with other opiates in the mix, SWIM has reached the desired effects by eating half the gel out of a 50mcg patch.

SWIM guesses SWIM wanted to post this story due to the fact that between this and other forums it was difficult to match SWIMs tolerance to those who have ingested Fentanyl in this way and amount.

SWIM would also like to say that with SWIMs tolerance SWIM is pretty sure SWIM could probably double the amount of Fentanyl and be "safe", although SWIM doesn't know if Fentanyl high's grow exponentially.
