Hello mates,
For about a year now, my brother has been staying here with me and my girlfriend after he got addicted to cocain. He got off it, and he's been doing great for about 8 months since the addiction, but about a month ago he's been acting weird. I suspected he might have got his hands on some type of drug. I checked his room, backpack, ect... I didnt find anything. But then I looked in the freezer and i found something. Im not familiar with drugs so heres some descriptions: 1) One in ziploc bag with tin foil over something inside the bag. 2) One is in a bag and looks like ice. Please help. Its important. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, im a newbie. |

Re: Hooked on drugs again?
Cocaine is not commonly kept in the freezer, and unless SWIY is getting ultra-pure something, an object resembling ice in a freezer is probably just that: ice. As for the tin-foil, LSD is commonly kept in freezers, and its sensitivity to light and gas exchange, as well as heat, lead many to contain it in tinfoil as a environmental resistant. Few, if any drugs, require freezing to maintain stability, and only a handful are commonly frozen. Chances are, the bags are full of nothing ice and hamburger meat.
Take some time to talk with your brother and work it out, instead of feeling like you have to sneak through his property to "catch him"..

Re: Hooked on drugs again?
If it looks like ice it may well be just that. However look at the shape of the "ice" - is it in shards in a relativley small bag or is it in blocks in a large one? If it is the latter then it's probably frozen water, if it is small shards in a small bag it may well be relativley pure methamphetamine, which would certainly explain oddness in behaviour, although it would be careless to leave it in such a place. If you want a simple test without destroying the substance, take it out of the freezer for half an hour and see if it melts.
In response to shampoo - it may well be true that few drugs require freezing, but considering the amount of rumour and misinformation in this area it would not be surprising if the individual in question believed that it did. |
